Perfect for Bose AE2w headphones
This Bose replacement headband was a lifesaver! I'm absolutely thrilled. Feels like I have a brand new pair of Bose headphones. (I replaced the ear pads as well).Excellent replacement headband for the Bose AE2w. Quality soft fabric, feels great when wearing. Feels like it will last longer than the factory headband.Once the old headband was carefully removed and after figuring out the basic mechanics of how things fit together, the installation was a breeze. Good instructional video link provided. My Bose AE2w headphones feel new! Literally. I've used my headphones a lot, always taking very good care of them, as they were expensive.Like many here, the factory headband and ear cushions literally just disintegrated over time. It was completely disappointing and super frustrating after having spent several hundreds of dollars that the ear pads and headband would deteriorate so easily. The plastic housing and hardware remained in good shape. But over time, the ear pads and headband just disintegrated into annoying flaking black micro debris that would just stick to my head, face and neck... I was ready to toss them in the trash out of frustration. After researching and calling Bose, I decided to purchase both replacement ear pads and a headband through Amazon. Bose offered ear pads at 35 USD. I bought a 15$ set of ear pads from Amazon (from another seller). The ear pads are perfect. Snapped into place in matter of moments once the headphones were cleaned out of the debris. And they recommended Ron's headband as a viable option. So I took a chance. And I'm thrilled....Perfect product if you were frustrated like me.... Super fast shipping. Great communication. Highly recommended if you have a pair of Bose AE2w that need new life. Super excited to not have tiny black deteriorating debris covering my head and neck! Thanks Ron!

Simple n easy to replace
Product received as advertised. Installation video is good. This headband confirmed can be used to replace AE2 headset band. I hv bought same band from a China source - doesn't come with plastic end clamps/clasps. I hv searched the internet, only Ron's replacement kit comes with the plastic end clamps - easily replaced. Thanks Ron. Great stuff...at least I don't hv to go buy a new headset=)

WORKS FOR BOSE QuietComfor# (QC3) TOO!
WORKS FOR BOSE QuietComfor# (QC3) TOO! I could not be more pleased with this product. Realizing that it is for another Bose mode, I read the one review that said it would work and reached out to Ron (the seller, more on him later) and he gave me confirmation that it would.First, you have to realize that there is NO other true replacement headband cushion for the QC3 available. I know, as I tried many. I bought 2 other products, and with BOTH, you have to completely destroy and disassemble the headphones (ie: un-solder the wires, take it apart, etc, then re-connect and re-solder the wires, etc). This is something that takes highly skilled electricians like 4+ hours and still is a 50/50 deal if they will work again! I nearly gave up.On a whim, I started looking for other models that might cross-over. It took a long time, but when I found this, I was skeptical but excited. Once I got it, I ripped it open and noticed that it was very high-quality (in fact, IMHO, nicer than the original one). Installation took 3 minutes - YES 3 MINUTES! Yes, there are some little horns and it is not quite as stealthy, but i will trade that for a fresh headband any day. So as to the product, SUPER happy. As to the seller, you can rest assured that he is professional, kind and uber-helpful!Thanks for a great product!!!!

... to buy a new Boss headphone once you feel like the old one getting dirty
this is way too expensive for just a headband cushion Save your money to buy a new Boss headphone once you feel like the old one getting dirty. It puts way to much time and energy to install this thing. If you have a black headphone, I will look ok on it. However since I got a white AE2, it looks kind terrible. I already switched the pad myself first.

Best option for AE2
This is the best option if you want to replace the headband for AE2. When I started, I thought it should be an easy process. So I just ordered a set from eBay with both headband and ear pad for $10. When the product arrived, I cut off my old headband then found out that the new headband doesn’t fit AE2 at all. It is about 1 inch longer and no way to tuck inside the original clips. This leaves with no headband on the headphone which looks fragile since the wire is on top. After watching some Youtube videos, I realized that there are only two working solutions for this - spend another $10 on eBay for the exact headband as the original one and solder the wires on/off to put that on or buy this $19 headband customized for AE2. I was very tempted to practice my soldering skill. But I figured it’d be time consuming and if I make mistakes, I’d be wasting $20 with broken headphone. So I bet on this HeadAudio product. It was total disappointment when the package arrived - I got ear pad instead which I already have as part of the eBay purchase. I went to Amazon to try to return it then I realized that the seller actually sent an email to me before the package arrives. So I replied to the email and got response from Ron within 20 minutes. He asked me to keep the ear pad and he will ship the headband to me the next day. Wow! Amazing customer support. The headband arrived couple days later. Took me 5 - 10 minutes to get it installed perfectly. It fits my AE2 really well. Later, I noticed that http://www.headcaseaudio.com/ has a headband + ear pad kit for $25. If I have to do this again, getting that kit would be the smoothest option.
