These can be washed in dish soap and hot water and re-used. They really do help block odors. Would buy again.

I really didn't think that I needed to replace these as often as I did, but once I did replace it, I was very pleasantly surprised. I have a 23 pound cat in a small one-bedroom apartment. You can imagine that things get kind of stinky sometimes. I bought these because I realized I hadn't replaced the carbon filter since I bought the box several months ago, and when I replaced it I was so pleasantly surprised. I felt like the smell was contained much better to the box, and it didn't last as long after the cat used it as well. For how cheap they are, and with a small space, it's well worth it to have that extra layer of protection with the smell.

Does not fit the Catit jumbo hooded cat litter. It leaves small gaps in sides since it’s a little too small.

I bought these filters with the litter box and have had both for about 4 months. I am just now replacing it. I also want to point out that it is very obvious when you need to replace these because the odor is very strong even if you clean the litter box - if you still smell an odor after cleaning it is time to replace it. I think that four months was a great amount of time to last. It works well and cut the odor by A LOT! I have had no issues with my cat tearing it up - she sniffed it and checked it thoroughly as she does everything but did not play with it at all. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing regularly! This item is also an add-on item, which made it an even better price. UPDATE 7/12/16: Well, after a month, my little buddy finally discovered the filter and is attempting to tear it to shreds. Since it is thicker and sturdier than others, he's having a bit more difficulty in destroying this one, so after a few minutes I guess he gets tired picking at it and walks away. I covered it up with a book, but every so often he remembers it's there and starts digging around around. We'll see...I do realize sooner or later he will get a hunk of it, pull it out and there will be bits of it all over the apartment. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This does seem to work as intended (litter box smells are under control for the most part), but honestly I guess I'm a little too anal-retentive and I just bought these to cover up the slots in the roof of the litter box. Hopefully my little buddy won't notice this and start to pick it apart like he did with the original filter years back. These are thicker than the original flimsy thin ones that came with the litter box, and a bit more sturdy...they also seem to filled with a woven material that make it more difficult to tear and should work better at absorbing odors that would come through the slots. Because of their thickness, these seem to stay in place better as well......

I purchased these for my son and daughter-in-law who have 2 cats . As far as scent it’s carbon not an air freshener but the carbon absorbs the odor . My son keeps their litter box immaculate so there is never a stinky smell in their home . He loves the carbon filters . I don’t have a picture but it fits on top of the covered litter box in a space made for it ( customers may want to check for how these work with your litter box )

We have 3 indoor cats and have had 3 Catit hooded litter trays for around 5 years now. I initially used carbon filter sheets and cut the filters to size, but soon discovered this was far inferior and a faff on. I fully change the litter and clean the boxes every 3 days, this may seem a lot but the litter trays are in our home and doing this makes me confident the house does not smell. I also slide a vac freshener disc on top of the filter, under the lip of the litter lid - smells great! Points to consider: 1. they don't last forever! you do need to change them regularly approx every 3 months i change them 2. if you don't clean the litter and change it regularly it will soon absorb the smell and become less effective 3. they are a bit pricey, but worth it for controlling the smell in my opinion I have just bought another two packs and Amazon tells me its the 18th time i have bought them - i wouldn't spend my money on them if they didn't work.

Mi arenero usa un filtro de la mitad de tamaño de este. Entonces, partí en 2 cada cuadrito, y lo cambio cada mes. Por ende, solo 3 veces al año tengo que comprarlo. Cumple su función de abosorber malos olores, pero si lo complementan con el "CatDeodorizer" de Arm&Hammer, y cambiar la arena diario (1 vez por día si hay un gato, 2 veces si tienen 2 y 3 veces si tienen 3), sin problema el olor queda encapsulado dentro de la caja (la nuestra es cerrada con puertita), y no pasa ni siquiera al cuarto donde se encuentra la caja.

I did not know how 'full' the original carbon filter on my cat's litter box was until I replaced it with one of these. Big difference when my cat drops his daily "bomb". Only needed one so I stuck the other one on a 200mm computer fan and am using it as a soldering fume extractor. It also works very well for taking the solder/flux smoke and smell out of the air. Also nicely filters out vape smoke. Many uses I also appreciate the fact that its far far cheaper than what my local pet store wanted to sell it for, and far far far cheaper than a fume extractor and filter.

Ucuz buldum aldım ama Blue Magic modeline uygun değilmiş. Yine de kullanmaya çalışacağım.
