Product Description The Glen GF30TSN 2kW flat fan heater is ideal for spot heating, when instantaneous heat is required. It's thermostatic control and choice of heat settings (including cool air setting) make this product an ideal heating solution for multiple applications, such as bedroom, home office or utility room, plus its compact styling makes the GF30TSN easy to move from room to room as desired, and store away when not in use. The GF30TSN is finished in a neutral white and meets stringent BEAB Intertek safety approvals, plus has a 1 year manufacturers warranty. Fan heaters are an excellent way of providing heat to cold areas quickly and effectively, and their small footprint makes them perfect for standing on a work surface, shelf or office desk. The most common output is 2kW, however for larger areas 3kW is a better solution. Look out for options such as heat settings to control the amount of energy used, plus a thermostat that can regulate the temperature of the room. Advanced features include climate control with LCD displays that monitor temperature drift more accurately than traditional thermostat models. Many models also have a cool air setting more useful in the summer monthsto help circulate the air. Set Contains: 1 x GF30TSN flat fan heater 1 x Instruction booklet

Do Not Buy!
As others have said this is dangerous. You risk burning down your house.. stay well away! The plug on my heater has gotten hot enough to warp the plastic. I opened it up to see if there was a wiring problem in the plug. The wiring looks fine but the plastic is brown from being burnt by the extreme heat. It is not far away from melting and starting a fire.

Trips out after a few seconds on 3Kw setting: unusable
I wanted a high output (3Kw) fan heat and this looked the job. However...It will only run on the high setting for a minute before overheating and tripping a safety device. I assumed this was a fault, so returned it to Amazon for an exchange model, which did exactly the same. Sometimes, even in a cold room, it will trip out after 15 seconds. This means that you have NO heat until the device resets itself after about 10 minutes.Hence it’s only really practical on its low output setting (c.1.3kw). If you buy one, you will be stuck with this too.Moral: Better to spend less on a reliable 2Kw heater than have a 3Kw heater that spends most of its time running at low heat – or tripped out because of a faultily calibrated safety device.

Using for my conservatory...
Ordered this heater for my conservatory having ordered another which simply was too small and too weak. This definitely does a good enough job of adding a blast of warmth to the conservatory in the early hours of the winter months - I turn it on for about 20mins around 6.30am before I go in and use the conservatory gym. Before I was simply unable to train as the conservatory was frostily cold.I wouldn't say it's incredible and heats the entire room, but it blasts out the frost and cole which makes going into the conservatory first thing a little more bearable.Would recommend it as a supplementary heat source, but not a main one.Overall, fits the need.

Short lifespan
I bought this heater a little over two years ago. It partially stopped working around one year ago (the high-heat setting would immediately cause it to short out for a few minutes), and it entirely stopped working yesterday (heater and fan both unresponsive to the controls).Previous space heaters which I've bought in this price-range have had a lifespan over five years, so I'd recommend that you look elsewhere.
