Does anyone know if this would work on raccoon's? I have 6' tall wood fence that it uses to leap on top of my laundry room roof.

I don't have any experience with raccoons. I have used this kind of bird spikes in my former house to prevent stray cats and squirrels from walking along my wooden fence in the backyard and it did not work. The cats simply walked very carefully and slowly and put their paws in between the spikes, but if they were alarmed they could still run all over and around the spikes. The squirrels simply took a detour and hopped onto the tree branches to get to where they wanted to go!

Roughly 8-10 I'd say. Unfortunately, I've had these long enough that some of them have gotten damaged and been thrown away. So if I remember correctly the total of all pieces added up to about 10 feet.

Do i have to put spikes into each hole?

Hello, the spikes come fully built so I'm not sure which holes you are referring to. These spikes will physically block birds from landing or nesting on the area they are directly applied to; they do not deter birds from any area which the spikes do not cover.

does it deter squirrels

Absolutely does NOT deter squirrels!!! Ask me how I know? Shades of Caddy Shack. :p
