OMG... This stuff works like magic on minor burns, bug bites but more importantly (for me), it clears up bruises quickly. I'm old and I get bruises on the backs of my hands and on my arms. I rub this stuff into the bruises 2 to 3 times a day and they completely disappear quick.. some in less than a week. Apply it to bug bites and you will enjoy no itching and best of all, the bite will disappear completely with no scar.

I've been using this brand and product for many years. It all started when I went to the mountains for a retreat. For some odd reason, the mosquito there really loved my blood. I was bitten in so many places and in places I didn't know existed. Unfortunately I didn't have the right bug repellent or ointment with me as I used another brand. Suffice to say, when I returned home, I went to the store and asked an employee what they'd recommend. I was told the Tea Tree Therapy Antiseptic was really the best at treating bug bites. Well, the store employee was absolutely right! I read the ingredients for this and while tea tree is an ingredient and widely known as an antiseptic, it also included lavender, eucalyptus, and rose geranium oil. I have to say that the rose and lavender scents were quite strong. I thought the eucalyptus and tea tree might be overpowering, but it was the geranium that was more pungeant. But oh well, aside from the scent, this ointment works great!!! Immediately after any bites or irritation on the skin, I would rub this on my skin. Not instant relief, but depending on how serious your bites are, it could take a couple applications for your bites to heal and not itch anymore. Nothing worse than scratching your bites because it'll make them worse. Aside from the strong scent (which isn't too bad), this has a cooling scensation most likely from the eucalyptus which is also nice. Now I keep a bottle or two in my house throughout the year. It's not quite a bug "repellent" because when I go out to tend to my garden, I still end up with a bite here or there. I then put on this ointment to treat the bites.
