Old LondonSesame Rounds, 5.25-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)

I love Old London Melba Toast. Sometimes it is hard to find in the grocery store so I decided to buy a case to have plenty on hand. They are crisp, and when I buy them in the store, sometimes a few of the toasts are broken. Unfortunately, this shipment has many broken and crumbled toasts. We are in our third box, and are very disappointed to find the same problem in each box.

I need to have a handy snack around for a "quick" meal (with a bit of cheese) or snack to stave off low blood glucose readings. Melba Toast is crunchy, takes a long time to go stale (when stored in its cellophane wrappings), and gives a small but manageable shot of carbohydrates. Fortunately, my wife does not like them. (Almost any other type of cracker simply disappears before I need a snack...)

So glad to have found this particular variety. None of the supermarkets in NE Seattle carry this variety anymore. The crackers are fresh and so far the boxes have almost no broken ones. Will certainly be purchasing again when this case of 12 boxes are gone.

Great little cracker. Been eating them for years. Great for the cruch, allows the cheese or spread to shine.

I really love Melba toast and it is one thing I am allowed on my diet. It is really hard to find around here, so when I saw it on Amazon, I bought it. It was delivered today, but some of the packages were broken, which Isn't too bad, but it tastes bland. I don't know if it is old, or where it is stored. It doesn't have that fresh Melba Toast taste. For the price, I was a little disappointed by that.

Having multiple health issues, there are times when I cannot eat "regular" food, but I need something in my stomach to take medications. Often it needs to be a bland or plain food. Each Old London Melba Toast box has individual packages of just a few pieces, and this is enough to meet my needs. I don't have to fiddle with the toaster, I have something easy to open and eat, and the rest of my family can enjoy these, too, with spreads, cheese, etc.

Wow, I definitely did not expect getting so much of the Melba toast, but i am glad that we have it now! My wife and i started a diet that we were able to eat the Melba Toast and we actually found many ways to use the toast for small snacks, or even a substitute for bread crumbs ! we love it and would recommend it to anyone !
