Perfect after dinner espresso maker

Such a cute little espresso maker. Arrived looking brand new and the cups were undamaged. It makes two basic cups of espresso, don't expect any crema or anything but it boils quick and is pretty foolproof if you follow the instructions. Depending on the size of your burner it and the cups can get very hot while brewing. I recommend start brewing, wait about two minutes and then put the cups on so they don't get too hot. Great for travel or camping, and cute enough to leave out on the counter when you're not using it. Overall very pleased with it so far.

This is the cutest little coffee maker. I ordered the yellow one. The art is beautiful and the colors are bursting. It works great and was wrapped well. It is easy to use and clean. I have a gas stove so there are grates, so I use a heat diffuser so it is stable. The handle nor the cups get too hot. Just enough coffee for my husband and I. Value for the money is irrelevant as this is an adorable novelty item. I highly recommend it. I will get one for my daughter.

I can’t praise the Mini Express enough. I love this thing and it works as advertised. But don’t expect those espresso shot glasses to survive the journey. The first one arrived two weeks ago. When I picked the box off my porch I could hear the tell tale jingle of broken glass inside the box. I knew from experience that could only mean broken glass or ceramic. Sure enough, one of the two glasses inside was in pieces. Amazon immediately dispatched a replacement with the caveat I’d have to send the old one back within thirty days or I get charged for both. But I needed coffee man, I’m not gonna sit around not drinking coffee in the meantime. So I started using the mini express with my own shot glasses. Flawless. A work of art. Bellissimo! Took about ten days for the replacement to get here. Once again I heard a small clink from inside the box. I knew it would not be as bad, but I knew what to expect. Only a small chip this time! Much better. So tomorrow, I’m sending back the new and unused mini express with both broken glasses and keeping the original. My procrastination has one again paid off and saved me from having to send back ANOTHER perfectly good mini express. Hope the mini express I’m sending back can find a second life somehow. But also hope that Bialetti learns to maybe use some bubble wrap or something in shipping these in the future. Otherwise, five stars across the board.

I have had this little pot for almost 8 months now. I got it when the handle of my older Moka pot broke. This stove top Espresso maker makes a great cup of espresso. I would recommend heating it on medium low heat for the best flavor, using cool filtered water. I also use a diffuser to regulate the heat evenly. It’s the perfect size for one person. My only complaint is that it can be a bit messy. It splatters when it’s just about out of water, but it easily wipes up afterwards.

Mine showed up USED and MISSING both cups. After reading a few more negative reviews about lacking quality and broken cups, I will not be re-ordering.

I love the moka pot, just be cautious that when you are boiling the water note that the cups get extremely hot! So when using this, use on low heat with NO the cups on the platform as you begin to hear a percolation sound then place your cups on the platform quickly as not to make a mess. I don’t use it often as you have to “baby sit” it . I use the cups more often with my other moka pot. Otherwise guest enjoy the look of this pot next to the stove. Enjoy
