First, you bundle the cord you want to wrap. This can be done in either a back and forth gentle fold or a circular fashion depending on the type of cord you have. Then you simply hold one end of the piggy on the cord bundle with your thumb to secure and wrap the piggy around with your other hand. It's hard to answer this from your question, but the visual that accompanies the item is accurate. Imagine a cell charger wrapped around as shown 5 or 6 times. That would be about the limit to the small size.
