Love the picks, hate that they'll not the colors shown in the ad
These 'heavy' rated picks have the same physical characteristics as the same brand I've been using for 40+ years... the only thing that changed is the method of branding, which makes no difference to me. They are the same thickness (as measured with calipers) and stiffness as they always have been. I had to knock off one star because the picks I received were not the same colors as those pictured in the Amazon ad, and not colors I would have intentionally purchased, and had I known that might happen I would have found another sales outlet that delivered what I expected to get. I also bought some Fender picks elsewhere that were 'Heavy' rated, but they were measurably thicker and stiffer, and not to my liking... Fender's 'Medium' might be closer to Ernie Ball's 'Heavy'.

Beginner Electric Guitar Players— Just Buy Them!
Started playing electric guitar a couple months ago. Tried a bunch of picks to find my vibe. A friend recommended the thinnest I could find so since I’ve found Ernie Ball to be great this far and love things that glow, I ordered these. Best decision I’ve ever made. Have no issues with gripping any longer and it’s so much easier to strum quickly and accurately. Don’t be me; start with these.

Nice picks.
These are nice. They glow in dark so I won't lose them as quickly.Good quality, not cheap feel.

Slick Pick
These picks are very heavy indeed and I really like the sort of soft rounded shape they have around the edges. The smooth texture of these hard-plastic picks, combined with the rounded edges make for a very fast pick. I was a little worried that since the texture is so smooth and glossy, that I would have a hard time holding on to them, but that isn't the case. The lettering on the one side is actually engraved into the pick, giving it just enough bite to keep from slipping out. I guess the bag is a random bag of colors; I got black, yellow, and tortoise shell picks in my bag. Definitely pleased with the colors, I have the black one sitting on my black Strat, and a tortoise shell one with my bourbon burst Les Paul. I usually don't care what color my picks are, but it was nice to get some that match my guitars for a change (if you're into that sort of thing). Great picks, I would definitely buy them again if I ever need more of them. I read that some people had broken some, but so far I haven't noticed anything odd about the quality of the picks. However, I usually play more soft blues, so I can't speak to hard strumming with these.
