Perfect accent or purposeful lighting
These are so versatile!I installed these above kitchen cabinets 10 years ago and are still going strong. Just added some below as under cabinet lighting and work great! Set up automation schedules through the Hue App and now never need to touch a switch.

Easy to install
The install was easy. The lights are bright and allow for a variety of color schemes using the bluetooth function. I would definitely buy this product again.

Easy to install. Easy to glue to the rafters on the basement. Easy easy.
I have tried a few smart lights over the years but the hue brand is winning me over with every new item I try.So I got the light strip to go over the weight set in my basement. Peeled the adhesive back and stuck the strip to the wood beams in my basement ceiling after a light dusting. 2 months later they’re still snug. The hue app is a lot of fun. Themes. Specific colors. Etc. the lights are super easy to hook up to your phone too (some brands have been a real nightmare). Just make sure you shut off all vpns when you are hooking things up (including apples vpn on the safari browser, etc).

Looks good!
The lights look great. The colors are fun to play with to accent our team on game days. Easy install although the sticky tape is not quite strong enough I just used plastic plumbers strapping about every foot or so to keep them from sagging. Also I can see how plugging them in might be a problem for some. It’s a big plug-in and wires can show. Luckily we had outlets inside our cabinets and drilled holes to run up to them.

Monochromatic, do not confuse with gradient lights
I thought these were gradient lights when I bought them, my own fault. Make sure you understand the Hue product line when purchasing. The price for two still makes them worth it and I was able to find places for them. The adhesive on the back is garbage. I ripped it all off and used my own 3M double sided tape. That's my only real complaint.

Rock Solid
Many complain about the premium price for Hue, but all you need to do is dip your toes into the competition to realize the premium price comes with premium features, ease of use, and stability. I made the mistake of thinking I could switch to Govee, and quickly realized how archaic their app is, and how troublesome their entire platform is for users. Lesson learned.

great product but..
you can buy an extension to make them longer but you cant make them shorter! or cut in half to use in 2 places. the prices of all hue products are VERY high but it's one cool product, especially when you have a bunched lined up on your phone with their user friendly app. the backs should be MORE sticky. had to add some double sided tape in a few spots : (

Overpriced, fragile, not good, run.
It’s my mistake for trying to use these poopie lights or commercial applications. Don’t make my mistake. There are much better lights available that are cheaper and more durable. After working with 30+ base kits and extensions, some of them don’t work out of the box. Poor connections on extensions randomly stop working AFTER installing into recessed track w/ diffuser strip and being untouched for days. They get handled too much before being installed and you lose one color diode on half the line. They are too fat to fit into most recessed kits, they suck and they are expensive.I hate these lights, huge time suck and waste of money for a brand name. Buy govee if you need tape lights with app control. If you need commercial applications just get commercial rolls. Don’t be dumb like I was.
