Over 10 years ago i was introduced to biofreeze by my therapist, treating acute areas of muscle spasm, for instance, allows those muscles to relax more quickly, improving treatment response. I've used since and tried all different packages gel tube, spay, individual packages but now i purchase this roll on for my son (hurt his leg playing basketball) so he can just apply directly from the bottle , he don't have to put on his hands and massage it,( then he has to worry about washing his hands after application).Much convenient and very easy to use. Biofreeze is a good product to consider if you are looking for an immediate and effective relief for joint pain and discomfort, and decreased the pain nearly two times more than ice.It's made of mint so it has cooling power and powerful minty scent and this scent is maybe too strong for some people (i actually like it) Biofreeze creates a cooling sensation in the area where it is applied, which replaces the painful feeling. Do not use this medicine on sunburned, dry, chapped, irritated, or broken skin. I have over used syndrome, tendonitis, muscle spasm and carpal tunnel so biofreeze really help me with some of my pain (of course not 100% pain free) but helps a lot. I have Fibromyalgia. What most people know about "fibro" is that it triggers pain receptors so, you look healthy, but your muscles can bunch up into knots responding to these pain triggers. It hurts to have someone rub my shoulders and back who is not looking for these knots and dealing with them with slowly increased direct pressure into the middle of the knot. Frankly, most don't have the patience to give you relief. This magic solution is the next best thing. It is like a roll on deodorant. Your friend does not have to get it on their hands. I will pull my Tshirt out of the way, lay face down on a bed and ask then to coat areas not covered by my bra straps. It has a mint, eucalyptus aroma (Ben Gay but milder) and the areas will feel cool, as if an ice pack has been applied. I usually give it five minutes to "dry" before recovering with my shirt. I am able to hit tops of shoulders, neck, pain in upper arms, thighs and calves on my own. Relief begins quickly. I keep this in my purse. I use it before use of prescription medications for pain, muscle spasms, and headaches. It's worth the 10 to 15 minutes to apply and meditate/physically relax as much as possible before adding internal chemicals to the equation. To get to a roll on version with easier application, faster clean up for the helper, was a major improvement. All it took was touching your eyes once without all the gel completely washed off to make you cuss like a sailor.

BIOFREEZE is a great item, and it really helps with neck, shoulder, elbow and knee pain. I usually get 24-48 hrs pain relief whenever I use it. I love this product and highly recommend it.
