I like the gel as it is thicker and easier to apply and rub in. the lotion worked well but this is just easier to apply. It is great stuff. I have a lot of headaches and neck pain and when I rub it on my neck and head, it sooths the pain. I also have bursitis in my hip from time to time and it helps that also.

Q: Will this work for restless legs?

For me it works for leg cramps but I couldn't say for restless legs - that hasn't been a problem for me. Seems like it would be worth a try though. What causes one might cause the other.
