Works for me
I bought two of these (32ft). One to extend a camera to a PC and the other to extend an audio interface (Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre for those that would know what this is) to the same PC. The PC runs a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and OBS recording software for the purpose of creating lessons. USB has natural length restrictions, and I was worried that there might be signal degradation and the original cables for the devices would not reach the PC. The only remedy was to try an active USB extension. I have everything connected and have done a preliminary test. The test was recording a video stream on one cable and MIDI data and audio on the other cable while providing back to the AI, audio and MIDI digital data. Everything seemed to work fine and recorded fine on the DAW and OBS. I haven't actually done a full-fledged recording yet to know for sure, but up to this point it seems to work and serves its purpose well. Interesting though, apparently, the computer still provides power to USB port while it is powered off, but the power not disconnected. I believe the motherboard still pulls some power in while it is shut down to keep things like the BIOS, etc. setting intact. When the power goes out totally, the BIOS is reset to default. Because of this, the USB port on the PC provides power to the cable and there is a little blue light that continues to stay lit. When I look into the room dark, I think I have left something on. I have a couple little blue lights lit up glowing in a dark room. Not a problem though or negative to me. Unless it proves differently in the near future, the product seems to be of good quality and works as stated.

Worked well
I used this for an Elgato teleprompter. As it has a LCD screen it's quite power hungry. Plugged it in and worked out of the box, no issues at all. I like the heavy duty cable quality too.

Worked, but finicky
I originally thought this was not going to cut it, but I figured out a combination that worked. I was trying to power a blynclight that needed to be at least 25 feet of cable run from my computer. Initially, just using this cable, from my laptop, with the power adapter and a 3 foot cable to the blynclight, it wouldn’t power up. I added a powered USB hub at my laptop and then plugged this powered cable into the hub, and that did the trick. So buyer beware, this might not cut it by itself.

It's compatible with all my astrophotography gear!
This was purchased to extend USB 3 from an anti-mosquito enclosure to my imaging platform. Comments at other sites suggested active USB 3 cables can be problematic with astrophotography cameras and other devices used while imaging. All of my USB 3 gear, including a Pegasus Powerbox, Pegasus Focuscube, ASI CCD camera and ASI guide camera functioned perfectly using this cable. NINA (popular imaging software) connected with all (including the USB 2 mount) and downloaded 57 images along with a stream of guide images without fault. This cable is great!Mechanically, this is a heavyweight cable, nice and solid if a little on the stiff side. The connectors are high quality and secure. One important note! Be sure to supply power to the cable. I didn't test it without a power source, but I think if you want 100% success you'll want the cable powered. (FYI The cable-end connector is a 3.5x1.35mm jack, center positive.)

Works great for USB security camera to PC!
Connected old ELP outdoor security camera with 18’ cord to this. Just happened to have a receptacle where the cam cord male end plugs into this female end (requiring the power source at that location).Couldn’t be happier, it works an additional 100 feet away, perfectly!

Long range USB
The 100ft cable has three USB repeaters on it, which seems to help with the range. So far no issues running a USB splitter at the end with some programming equipment attached. The USB connection is stable and reliable. It acts exactly like an extension cable.
