I’ve been using Cetaphil soap for a while, and it’s been an absolute lifesaver for my sensitive skin. It provides such a gentle cleanse, leaving my skin feeling fresh, soft, and never dried out. What I love most is how it doesn’t cause any irritation, even on days when my skin feels extra sensitive. It’s perfect for both my face and body, and the mild, clean scent is a bonus it’s fresh without being overpowering. I love, love, love this soap! I was hesitant to purchase because I’d read reviews from some who complained thst it had an overpowering fragrance, but it really doesn’t seem overpowering to me (or anyone else in my family) at all. I get migraines and easily become nauseous from perfumes and colognes, so I checked out this soap at a local drugstore. It just smelled “clean” to me, so I tried it out. I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be so moisturizing, but it really is wonderful! I’ve previously used Marseille soaps made from 99.7% olive oil, Moroccan black soaps made from Argan oil, Shea butter soaps, and basically everything I could find made for extremely dry skin, but nothing else has made such a difference in my skin!It has not irritated or dried my skin in the slightest! I’ve found it to be much more moisturizing than Cetaphil’s Ultra Gentle Body Wash, which dried out my skin terribly (if you have REALLY dry skin, definitely stay away from that one!). I don’t use the soap on my face, because I’d rather use a non-foaming cleanser (Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser), but from the neck down, this is absolutely perfect! Using with a bath pouf, it creates a nice, creamy lather that doesn’t dry my skin, doesn’t leave residue in the tub (like a lot of “natural” soaps can do), and I even use it for shaving my legs and underarms. I follow with Cetaphil moisturizing lotion, but even on days when I’m in a rush or have forgotten to lotion up, I still feel like my skin is hydrated after using the soap. After using the soap, my skin has a nice glow, and appears shiny (a good kind of shiny- not oily) where I’ve shaved my legs.I’ve suffered from skin that is so dry that it feels like it will crack, and so many products leave me feeling itchy, but this is the best soap I’ve ever used. I love the clean smell so much that I look forward to using it! I purchased the 3 pack on Amazon because it’s a better value than buying individual bars at the drugstore. I just love it!

I do not have sensitive skin, but as I age and my skin thins, EVERYTHING seems to irritate. This bar soap is wonderful. I have used it less than one week and my skin is smooth and clean. Body washes are great but this is so much nicer, rinses and just feels great.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve purchased this product for over 24 years. My daughter suffers with a severe case of eczema and it’s the only soap that does not irritate her skin. My entire family uses this product for every type of skin. I recommend this product for all types of skin. It’s difficult and can be overwhelming when buying soap for your family. I assure you this is the product you want. It does cost a bit more but you’ll save money in the long run. You won’t be buying other products for dried out skin caused by other harsh soaps. Your best buy for the dollar is from Amazon in bulk.
