Saved me a lot of money.
AC tech said I needed a new unit installed. It would cost me thousands of dollars.With this kit my brother and I fixed it in less than an hour.

A perfect solution!!!
One of my compressor's three terminals had a wire connect melted and it can no longer accept a new wire connect. I've tried to DIY customize other wire connectors (disconnects, flags, etc.) to make it fit. But, the home-made solutions can't stay tight enough. For a high voltage connection, lose connection is likely to create arc-ing and excessive heat that melts connectors.This product is awesome! Particularly the inclusion of hex torx screws make it easy to work in a really tight space.The only suggestions I have is to include 10-gauge wire flags instead of three 12-gauge wires.

It works and saved me money.
Worked exactly as expected. Allowed me to repair my AC without buying a new compressor. The terminals were starting to corrode and the normal spade terminals on the cable were completely corroded away. The Quiklug fix appears to be a high quality permanent fix and attached solidly to even corroded terminals. AC has been working fine for weeks now.
