Colorful, sturdy and well made
I was looking for small, sturdy pick-up truck toys to give to my three great-grandsons for Valentine's Day along with the book, Little Blue Truck's Valentine. I found this grouping of four metal, pull-back pickup trucks in four different colors, one of them blue, sold as a package at a very reasonable price. My great grandsons, ages 6, 3 and 18. months, loved them. The doors on these little metal trucks open and close and they are a great size for young boys to hold and play with and very sturdy. I gave the blue, red and yellow trucks to the three brothers and the black truck to my older, third-grade grandson. I would highly recommend these little trucks.

Great Pull Back "Little Blue" Truck
The media could not be loaded. The video I uploaded quickly shows what these look like all the way around and how they work. These look just as pictured, and were better than I expected. I bought them for the blue truck because it looks like the truck in the kids book, "Little Blue Truck", which my 3 year old loves. He is clearly younger than the recommended age of 5, but we haven't had any issues. These are a nice size and bigger than your average matchbox car and measure about 5'' long and 2'' tall and 2'' wide. They are metal and plastic, feel sturdy but light weight (definitely not solid metal and hollow under hood and between plastic underside and metal body), really detailed, rubber tires, plastic interior with steering wheel and manual stick, plastic bed "liner", chrome accents, doors open/close, and you pull them back (they pull back really smooth) and let go, and they go far and quietly and smoothly.I bought these for my boy that just turned 3, even though they say the age is 5 and older. He doesn't put toys in his mouth and I can only see these being a problem, if a door broke and they put it in their mouth, or the windshield came out/broke and left a sharp piece, or they managed to break the steering wheel or tires off and put them in their mouth. He likes to crash these together, along with any other vehicle he has. He often pulls them back, which is easy, and then lets them go and they go into the oven, which is about 1.5'' above the ground and the trucks hits the bottom of the metal oven, right at the windshield, and one hit hard enough that the windshield partially cracked and kind of popped out on the edge; but this is not a problem with the toy, just a rough boy, and probably why they say it is for 5 and up. It hasn't ruined the truck, and I will probably just take the windshield out and he won't care. I bought these to be played with and they are being played with. I would definitely recommend them, and think it is a fair price for what you get and it appears the prices go up and down, so you could always price watch because as I write this the price is really low and each truck is only a few dollars where as I paid a little more. The packaging was simple and plain, as if the seller Amazon ships these for gets them in bulk and splits them up - all 4 trucks where in, a plastic bag, and each truck was just in a zip lock bag, in the box with those air filled plastic pockets they use for cushioning during shipping. We enjoy these and I would definitely recommend them. For those that write reviews that are bad because they didn't get one, or something wasn't working properly, contact Amazon; they have a great return policy and mistakes are made, but don't knock the toy ratings for packaging/ or a defective item as their are shipping reviews meant for that and hassle free returns.

Great quality model trucks
I got these for my son (who is far from the "recommended" age range). He loves them. The quality of these is very impressive given their price. They roll wonderfully - the pull back action is great & feels very sturdy. These have endured quite a bit of abuse at the hands of my son - who likes to drive things off the edge of our bay window seat - so numerous 2' tumbles for each of these. It seems like you'd have to work pretty hard to snap off one of the doors. He hasn't messed with the interior bits (like the steering wheel) but they seem pretty sturdy too. None of them have any alignment issues - they all roll pretty straight & the pull back action is pretty strong - it will go quite a ways on a hardwood floor.Mine also endured a very rough shipping situation. Normally Amazon is pretty good with their packaging, but of course everyone makes mistakes & these experienced one of those. These do not come in their own packaged box - I think whoever sells them has repackaged them from bulk sets, so instead they're wrapped in shipping paper & put into a poly envelope, staggered (so the top of one truck is in the truck bed of the other one). Normally this would be just fine - it's enough protection to withstand the shipping journey, unless of course it's packaged in a 3' x 4' box along with a 35lb bag of dog food, which was the case for me (the dog food is part of my subscribe & safe, wasn't part of this order). I would have returned them immediately, but my son had already seen them & he's too young to understand that, so I just let him have them. Thankfully Amazon was really understanding & gave me a credit for future use.It seems the only possible sort of damage from that is the truck beds are ever so slightly bent away from the cab, which I think is pretty impressive for these to have withstood that so well (since I watched the UPS guy bring that big box up - it was a bit rough, understandably so given the awkward weight & size).Great product, great quality & a very good price.FYI - I also spotted cars like this (about the same size, pull back action & opening doors & whatnot) at a Kroger in the Atlanta area. They were $5.99 (+ tax) - but I admit, none of them were as cool as this design (more modern cars & sports cars). I got one there - a VW Beetle design - seems to be comparable to these in terms of quality & design. Just thought I'd mention that in case you have a kroger near by (unfortunately I've never seen them in the publix stores in my area). UPDATE - the kroger bought VW is definitely not the same quality...both bumpers have already fallen off :( these on the other hand barely even have scratches..so well worth it.

Great party centerpieces
I did a "Im not old, Im classic" theme for my husband's birthday and used these trucks as centerpieces. I purchased the wood frames on amazon and glued the trucks on them with a glue gun to keep them from rolling off. They looked perfect on all the tables. Cute, good sized, great price, good quality, sturdy trucks. Highly recommend purchasing these for any type of decor or event.

Small but cute
Adorable truck! I dressed it up with holiday stickers, a tiny tree, and a festive wreath for a gift at a kids' party.

Very Nice!
We inserted these in shoe boxes we made for residents at an Adult Care Facility. Those gentlemens absolutely love them. As I was leaving, I overheard one gentleman asking another with excitement, "Did you get one of these"? As he held up the pickup truck to one of his buddies while grinning ear to ear.
