My daughter had so much fun building this. It was soooooo hard but she loves puzzles so she stuck to it and completed it in about 3 hours. It does not stay together well but it is a show piece. It is fine as long as no one touches it.

I bought this for my niece for Christmas. She is 14 and loves puzzles and cats. She had never had a 3d puzzle before and she was very excited to work on it. It did take her most of Christmas Day to put it together, but she did it by herself. She enjoyed the challenge. It was nice that it did come with two cats, small and large. The small one is a lot sturdier then the bigger one. My niece didn’t want to look up the online directions and we saw a piece that kinda looks like a key that might need to be used to hold the big one together. Not sure if she every decide to look that up when she got home.I am very happy with this purchase.

Had this sent to granddaughter & got rave reviews. Fun to assemble & nice dresser ornament.

This is the second crystal puzzle I built so I have something to compare it to. Given, the other one was purchased while on vacation and from a different company.Pros:-It is literally a puzzle where you need to fit pieces together so it does provide a challenge-The finished product is a cute cat with her kitten which does have a shine to it (as long as you didn't eat potato chips while building it! Fingerprints make it look duller)-They give you a small little sticker sheet with three different colored eyes to pick from, red, blue or black for the mother and kittenCons:-No instructions, now if you're looking for a puzzle, you know there is no diagram for how to put the puzzle together, that being said, this is 3D and all the parts are in a bag together with no indication of what piece goes where aside from you using trial and error to fit them together. Your best bet is trying to figure out the "edge/outside" pieces and then try to solve it that way. It would have been nice to include instructions for those who do not wish to do this in a very tedious manner, it took me around ~3 hours-This is a huge problem, the pieces DO NOT INTERLOCK! So I was building the feet and body to the mother cat and they just sit on top of each other. The kitten does fit snuggly together but the mother cat does not. This means if you're holding her in your hand, be prepared for the layers to separate. The finished product is held together by a rod through the entire cat which brings me to the next con...-The rod used to hold the entire cat together... doesn't work... I put it in and placed the cat on my desk to display and then a few minutes heard a loud snap and the cats hat had flown off and the rod sticking out. The bottom part of the rod had snapped off within the cat. The rod is screwed in with a little plastic "key" they give you so I assume the tension was too much. So after the rod snapped I had to dismantle the entire cat and use glue to glue the entire cat together. I have experience with glue and making it even so it dried without large amounts of glue squirting out or showing through the cat.OverallOverall if you enjoy puzzles you'll like this but be prepared for anger at holding the entire cat together because the pieces don't stay together until the end with a rod that doesn't work...

Wonderful gift for the children in your life. However, be prepared to assemble with the child.I purchased for my niece. She is 12 and loves this kind of thing. It didn't come with instructions though. There is a link on the box to look at some interesting instructions online (basically just an image of every piece with a number - the order in which you are supposed to put each piece together). We did end up following the link and using her phone to look at each picture and follow the steps.If you don't want to do it with the child you are purchasing for, don't buy it. If you are looking for some quality time and a fun activity that creates a beautiful piece of art she will cherish, then this is the item for you! :)

It was very hard to figure out at first with that the instructions but once I did find out how to do it, it was very entertaining . The only reason I’m giving this a 3 is there was a piece missing. I have to do in about half of it that took me forever. I have to take it apart and return it. I want to order it again, but the price was twice as much as it was no longer on sale ☹️.

Giving 4 out of 5 stars due to the fact it isn't nearly as purple as the picture shows, it's more clear then purple. It was fun to put together though, and it looks cute on my shelf. For a "level 2" I would say it was quite easy, only took me maybe an hour to put together the mom and the baby(didn't use any video guides or anything). I just don't get why they are so expensive, they are fairly small for the price, but once together they stay together forever and can look nice being displayed.

This is definitely a new twist on 3D puzzles, unlike any puzzle I've seen before, quite challenging at first as there are no instructions and only the box for a photo, but I can't remember the last time any puzzle came with instructions.I loved the clear one so much I got the black one too. The clear colour does have a bluish tint in natural sunlight, but looks clear white in the house lighting without sunlight.If you purchased this and are frustrated or you bought it as a gift and not sure they're up for the challenge, there are videos out there walking you through every piece, don't give up!
