I do not use it as a traditional reading light, nevertheless it is compact yet bright and flexible to meet my needs. I accidentally broke the first one I owned (completely my fault ) and ordered a replacement right away!

The light is bright enough but I found it hard to maneuver when clipped to my book. It was a nuisance having to adjust it for both sides of the pages every time since the light didn't cover both sides of the book. I was reading a hard cover book. If it was a paperback (smaller area) it probably would have been fine.

We love this little booklight. I have a 6 month old that has no lights in the backseat and his mirror doesn't come with lights SO we bought this little booklight so he could see in the back and play with his toy and NOT have to sit in darkness in the car.

I like it, but this was an upgrade to the one from a few years ago (which I left behind while traveling) and the LED light is pretty bright. I think it's fine, but my husband complains alot about it. To get around the issue I put a couple of layers of cream colored masking tape on it and I peel it off slowly as the battery dies. Annoying, but not as annoying as my whiney husband.

I ordered two of these lights to give to my children for Christmas - one in silver and one in blue. They came in totally different packaging. One of them requires 1 AAA battery, the other a Lithium battery. One of them has a bright light, the other is quite dim. They are not the same product, even though they are advertised as such (size and shape varies for both the light fixture part and the clip-on part). Both lights (even the bright one) are so dim, I am not sure they even produce enough light to read? It doesn't appear as though you get the product that was advertised. I will be curious to see how long the product lasts, but do not have high hopes.

So tiny compared to the one I am replacing with it. love the color. Extremely bright, nice cool white makes reading in the dark easy. Letters on the page look nice and crisp

I wish this was a little brighter, but I do like the ease of using it...it bends whichever way you need it to, and I even used it to light the sidewalk when walking at night...just clipped it on a bag that I carried.

My daughters loved their new lights for reading. They share a room and these are the perfect amount of light and bendability that allows each girl to read before bed without disrupting the other.

This is a really nifty night reading light. It has a flexible neck that is really a good thing ( so far it shows no sign of wear and tear and I have twisted it many a time, the beam is strong and makes reading really easy. I use it for reading in bed, walking through the corridors without turning on the lights at night and even I have my two sons begging me to use it as their night light. It is a great buy!

Sehr praktisch, funktioniert wie erhofft. Gibt genug Licht und hat eine gute Größe. Batterie hält auch recht lang. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Es un mini flexo, de luz blanca bastante buena.Lo uso para la lectura nocturna, enganchándolo directamente al libro.Lo compré para la habitación de mi hijo, creyendo que era un flexo de tamaño normal...pero como me ha gustado, me lo he quedado.Ventajas; lo puedes llevar a cualquier parte, no ocupa nada.

Prima che sfugga a qualcuno, parlo subito dell'unico "difetto" di questa lampada da lettura: quando aprite il vano delle pile, se siete cecati come me, procuratevi un paio di occhiali per vedere bene le indicazioni sul verso di inserimento. La sagoma del vano, infatti, ricalca quella di una pila, ma al contrario! La pila va infilata quindi al contrario di quel che sembrerebbe a colpo d'occhio.Detto questo, è praticamente perfetta. Usa una sola pila AAA standard (quindi reperibile ovunque a minimo costo), ha un led sufficientemente potente per illuminare le pagine del libro, ma non tanto da dare fastidio agli altri, lo snodo mantiene bene la posizione, è leggera e piccolina.Buona lettura!

I didn’t use it for a few years because I was using a usb reader light but that finally died😡 It was younger than this one and more expensive🙄 So, I’ve reverted back to this one a couple of months ago, but it is on its last legs. If it last me a further 12 months I’ll be happy👍🏾ORIGINAL REVIEWAfter scouring the amazon reviews for clip-on lights I finally decided to purchase this little gem. I was going to purchase the silver one but thought, 'what the heck, this one's cheaper!'This is a wonderful little product. I use it in bed to read my paperback books. I did wonder if I would have a problem with the paperbacks as most people seem to use theirs on a Kindle. But - no problem whatsoever. When I start a book I clip it to the last 10 pages or so, then, as I progress through the book I attach it to the first 10+ pages. It doesn't damage the pages or the cover in any way. The light illuminates both pages and is easily adjustable. It gives me the wonderful freedom to read under the covers if I so wish :-) and doesn't disturb my husband when he wants to sleep.A really worthwhile purchase - especially at £6.14p with free p&p.28/04/2012 - It also works with my Kindle. Just clip on and away you go.
