Minecraft for Beginners

This book was brilliant for my 6 year old who has just commenced his adventure into the world of Minecraft. Means I no longer have to try to answer the endless stream of questions about how to craft a pickaxe/bed/bucket/torch/cake/cart/lead/door/table/fence/gate etc etc. Thank you!

I purchased this for my 7 year old son who has just started year 3 and discovered minecraft. All the kids are playing it apparently and he didn’t really know much about it so we downloaded it to his kindle to see what all the fuss was about. Needless to say apart from walking about digging holes we were both pretty clueless. I purchased this book and it’s been great in so many ways. A) he voluntarily picks up the book and reads!!!! B) he no longer asks me questions I have no idea how to answer like how do you breed a pig?!! C) he now has things he can contribute to in conversations with friends about it and he is pleased that he is now teaching his friends how to do things. Major kudos on the playground.

There's not a huge amount of content in this but what is there is clearly explained and appropriate if you're just starting out in Minecraft. I bought this so I could try and catch up with my daughter who is a Minecraft expert compared to me, so that when we play together I don't have to keep asking her to craft basic things for me.

My 10 year old had just started to play Minecraft but was getting very frustrated. I bought this in an attempt to make it less traumatic for us both. He really likes this book & was pouring over it. He now always has the book with him while playing & its made life less stressful!

I’d heard so much about this game but when I first bought it I had no clue! This book was fantastic for an absolute beginner like me. Highly recommend. My 7 year old daughter read it and used it to learn too so good for all ages
