The last knife
Have many good and more expensive knives but somehow always reach for the 6” inch Merced. Handle like a utility and paring knife for prepping, cut like a chef’s knife, thicker tang on the back and top makes chopping possible. So versatile, unbelievable handling and sharp out of the box. If I can only own one knife it would be this one.

I love my Mercer knives
Great quality steel that takes and keeps a razor edge. The soft rubber handle is easy for my arthritic fingers to hold. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Beautifully designed.Perfectly balanced with a pinch grip. The handle is long enough to grip with a full hand fit cutting through cheese, large carrots, etc. Handle is nicely textured and provides a no-slip grip even when wet.This has quickly replaced my 8" chefs knife as my daily driver.My new favorite in a block full of top shelf cutlery.
