Having her visit the dinosaurs really makes her interesting to everyone in my family

My child loved it from the very first read. She was almost 4 y.o. at the time and kept asking me to read it to her again and again. When we went to the Museum of Natural History she immediately recognized the large dino skeleton as "the one from my book". The story is perfect for this age, it's fast paced, adventurous and sweet. Later on she will be able to remember the names of all dinos listed in the book and what they looked like, which is great for children's general education.

Great book! My daughter loves it she’s read it a few times which she doesn’t really do. Also asked for more books from this author! Would recommend.

We purchased this book as a gift for a baby shower for dinosaur fan friends. My toddler enjoyed hearing this story and I know Baby M will enjoy it also. We love Katie books!

I adore the Katie books. I love her silly antics in Katie Meets the Impressionists. This book, however, is not quite as good as the artist ones. The plot is a little weak. The drawings are as fabulous as ever though, and small children are sure to love this book.

We got this book because my 2 year old daughter went to the Museum of Natural History and loved the dinosaurs so this was a perfect fit. It is beautifully illustrated and tells a fun story about a girl who has an adventure with dinosaurs. There's not that much out there for girls who like dinosaurs so this is a nice book to have.

It's really nice that a book that features a little girl goes out of the realm of the normal "girly girl" book. It is also great that it has an appendix that includes the dinosaurs' pictures, names & the correct way to pronounce them!
