Surprisingly good strings!
I've never heard of this brand before and decided to give them a try. I like bendy strings that press easy, and these do exactly that! I play rock/metal and these sound great. Great tone, even a month after playing on them daily :)

Good gauge for 24.74 Scale length guitars
I’ve been using thin core boomers for years. They are great for players starting to learn soloing. I’ve dropped to 9-42 gauge since I don’t do many live gigs anymore. After playing and blind testing many strings gauges for 24.75 scale length guitars ie Les Pauls, 9-46 gauge seems to work the best for most that tried them. The lighter unwound strings on the bottom and the heavier top strings seem to have a good balanced attack and feel imho. I gave a 4 in longevity only because they don’t last as long as Elixers but better price point

Fantastic Strings
I have played GHS Boomers for many, many years. I've tried a LOT of others but always come back to these. Great sounding. Long lasting. Great price. If you plug it in, every guitar in my collection has GHS Boomers on it.
