Alestor's (Model PS951) 12-outlet (with USB-A & C ports) power strip is great value (if it fits)
Our two Alestor surge protector/power strips (one black, one white) appear to be very user friendly devices, well-designed and assembled, and made of quality materials.A power strip with 12 well-spaced outlets and 2700 Joules of surge protection, two indicator lights (for surge protection and for adequate grounding), and 4 USB ports, is a terrific value at the current price. The only problem in our case was an error by me; while choosing the best of many competing "surge protector/power strips" for our needs I lost track of one of our most important requirements, a flat plug that will allow furniture (such as a bed's headboard, dresser, cabinet, etc.) to be placed very close to the wall & outlet. The black unit is more inconspicuous and perfect for use tucked under our entertainment center, while the white unit is easier to find while hidden in the much larger and darker space under a bed. This unit has a sturdy and easy to use, horizontal plug, with a robust round cord that, together, probably requires a 2 to 3-inch gap (a bit larger than usual) between furniture and the outlet it is plugged into.Rather than return these immediately, I will instead re-order, while looking for other locations where these might be more appropriate.

Spacious!
I got this because I needed more outlets than my previous surge protector had. These have generous spacing so that you aren't covering up every plug in/outlet port with every adapter you plug in. I haven't tested the charging speed or anything as I have my 45w charger for my phone plugged into this, along with my PC, 2x routers, 3x monitors, 2.1 speakers and even a charger for my 2-way radios. There may be something else plugged into it that I'm not thinking of, but either way, it's a great design.I can't comment on the surge protection of it and hope I never have to worry about that working haha. But it's handling everything I'm throwing at it so that's a plus. I probably should have gotten one with an Ethernet port but it didn't occur to me at the time. That's my fault, though.

Must have for a standing desk
This ALESTOR power strip has been a game changer for my standing desk setup. With 12 outlets and 4 USB ports, it's perfect for consolidating all my devices—monitor, laptop, charger, speakers, and more—into one neat hub. The 6-foot extension cord gives plenty of reach, and it tucks away easily as the desk moves up and down. It’s also reassuring to have 2700 joules of surge protection, especially with all the electronics I have plugged in. Everything feels secure and organized now, with way fewer loose wires trailing under the desk.If you're looking to tidy up your workspace and power multiple devices efficiently, this power strip is a solid investment!

Love the extra real estate!
I needed more outlets for all my power hungry devices. This did the job.Pro -Plenty of outlets including USB and USB-C plugs.Good surge protection. I had a recent power outage and none of my devices had any issues when the power came back.Nice, long extension.Con -Can't think of any; it serves my needs

Looks great! Read the instruction paperwork
Looks good. Lots of receptacles. However, the enclosed paperwork describes the product and suggests getting a stronger "professional" model. I selected this one because of the number of joules protection. So, Hmmmm?

Great extension cord/surge protector!
I used this in my dorm room and it was great. It's specifically surge-protected, which was in compliance for my specific dorm. I HIGHLY recommend checking any housing rules before purchasing if you're a college student/have rules on what kind of extension cords you can have in a space. Aside from that, the product was also useful in a number of ways. There are the regular plug-ins, as well as 4 USB plug spots for things like phone chargers, which was handy and didn't take up more plug-in space. It's not too bulky or short, but it's not going to be in the way with too long of a cord either. This was exactly what I needed and was worth the price.

Watts Your Problem?? Solution may be Shockingly Easy!
Desperately needed additional plug-in capabilities! This 12-outlet surge protector is easy to use and works well. I like the size of the strip (see the picture and note how it shows 2 outlets set apart to accommodate bulky plugs while the rest are regularly spaced), has 2 little lights to show it's working, and the 4 USB "charging outlets" (3 USB-A's and 1 USB-C). It is not a "super fast" USB-C charger, but it does a decent job with the additional security of the surge protection. One thing I wish I'd known before purchasing is the limitation of 750 watts per outlet max. If an item to be plugged in exceeds that wattage, the company recommends you plug that item directly into the wall receptacle and not the surge protector. Still, all in all, it is a good value, has a high star rating (with a lot of reviews), and fits a lot of plugged in items in a compact space. If you have limited outlets, of course, use common sense and don't overload your electric capacity. However, this surge protector is responsible for a definite up-tick in my morale! I can heartily recommend!
