Working the Reggio Way
Did I like this book? Well it was o.k but I don't think I would have bought it if I would have read it in a book shop. for me there wasn't enough about the children themselves, the projects they did photos..........

A novel understanding of traditional & values based learning
Written in a clear and anecdotal voice that goes straight to your heart and mind. I'm so very excited about all that I've read here. It gives insight into so much more than just teaching... it helps us define and redefine how we learn... together. Teachers, students & families are all part of the learning process and this book points out the way to develop that collaborative process.Get ready to think and reflect, as it starts with asking one to think about their values in regards to what a child is, what teacher is, what every action and physical aspect of the child's environment we built for them says about our values... As you go through the book you build your own understanding of the whole learning & teaching dynamic... it offers a mountain of ideas for creating amazing learning opportunities and where they come from, and can develop into. It teaches you how to observe and listen and why that can only make you a better educator. It ends with why and how to include families into your classrooms and schools... This has been an eye opener and an amazing read. I encourage and very highly recommend it to parents, teachers, educators, and managers alike.
