Q: Is it just me or does this product make gray hair more obvious? I color my hair and I want to tone down brassiness but it made gray roots brighter?

I think it does. I don't color my hair and use it to get rid of the yellow that streaks my hair because I wear it long. I think cutting your hair often does not result in the brassy yellow. So, in a nutshell, I think that it does make gray brighter.

No, it doesn't stain your fingers/nails.

Q: I have dark brown hair with carmel ombre on the ends and around the face. Will conditioning with this effect my natural dark brown?

I don't believe so. Aveda's Blue Malva has not changed my hair color and I have natural dark brown hair as well. After using the product, you hair will smell lovely and feel very soft. I hope this helps.

Q: Is it a highly pigmented blue color?

It's a more lighter blue! It smells great and leaves hair very soft and shiny!
