I have tried a number of craft glue that would be comparable to Grrrip glue but could not find it in Canada. I was not having any success until I found Aleene's Fast Grab, it does exactly that, where as most glues are too runny and take a bit to grab hold this one gives you time to fiddle for a few minutes before it starts to dry and I like that it dries clear as well.. This is excellent for my craft items and works great on fabric too. I will definitely be using this glue from now on.

I picked this up for craft projects that need a bit more grip than a glue stick but without the chaos of a glue gun. It’s honestly great — it lives up to the “fast grab” claim, sticking items in place almost instantly so you’re not sitting there holding things together for ages. The consistency is thick enough that it doesn’t run or drip, which is perfect for vertical surfaces or fiddly bits. I’ve used it on paper, light wood, felt, and even plastic trinkets, and it’s held up beautifully every time. The squeeze bottle gives good control, and it dries clear without warping paper, which is a bonus. For general-purpose crafting or quick home fixes, this is now my go-to. Reliable, mess-free, and does exactly what it says.

We do a lot of paper crafting as a family and kids need a glue that can stick in 1ms or “it won’t work!” So this glue is great, it’s still a type of PVA so the stick time isn’t instant but it’s a lot quicker than the stuff you normally get where you grow old and a beard before it’s dried enough to think about letting it go. The bottle size is good for applying small amounts to tricky bits and when it’s dry it ain’t coming apart again. The price is a little higher than your normal 1ltr bottle from the pound shop but you pay for what you get and if like me you like to make papercraft wargame scenery then this does the job well. Would recommend? Yes if you like a precision bottle, faster drying PVA and willing to pay a little more for the quality. If also, like me you just like to sit and peel off your hands for ages I recommend you get your cheap stuff
