You'll hate Chemistry.
Boring book! With nice pictures yet the material content is not intellectually digestible. Part of the answers are reflected at the end of the book: Not recommended for self study . There are better books explaining Chemistry, Radiations, Quantum energy, etc. to read. Also, the poor access to online Learning Module for the self study students make it hard to study. I love Chemistry but after reading that book (part of it) I had a headache. Image from [...]

Missing a lot
The solutions that are provided are very helpful in solving the problems given. They tackle them in the same way that the book does, at least the more complicated ones, with devising a strategy and then following it through to the solution.That said, there are only about 30% of the chapter review questions from the textbook solved in this solutions guide. And only the ones that have answers in the back of the book. I assume this was so that the author of this solutions manual would have a way of checking his work. The book is already pretty big, and would be 3.5 times larger if every problem was solved, but c'mon, at least give us the answers for them. I want to check my work, and if I just have to flip to the back of the textbook to confirm my answer, why open this book?I guess when you look at the title "Problem-Solving Workbook with Selected Solutions for Chemistry: Atoms First," you realize the key word is "selected."

Must have solutions!!
There was close to 100 students in class, so obviously the professor can't go into detail about how to solve all of the questions in the book, I pretty much had to teach myself, this was priceless..

Great Study Guide
Older version than we are studying at school but still very useful. I recommend this to anyone who is studying Chemistry in college. The information is still relevant and useful. Great way to review and the selected answers are step by step which helps me to know where I did wrong. This not only helps but also assists me in learning more than just the instructor lead classes.
