Very nice set. Everything worked great. Recommend as a started Z scale set. Everything necessary is here and at a great price.

The media could not be loaded. I was very pleased with the quality of this train set. Well packaged and solid construction. I needed a magnifier and tweezers to assemble the tiny buildings. The magnifier came in handy for connecting the sections of track as well. I anticipated problems but they didn’t happen, it ran successfully on the first try! Look forward to many years of future Christmas enjoyment.

Haven't got set up yeat because the track pieces are so small I cannot get them put togetherWill have grandkids help when they come for Thanksgiving.

Love the look and size. Going to use this with my model train layout. Set up an use is very easy.

This looks amazing on my kitchen counter going around other decorations. Only keep in mind the ice rink and houses have to be put together and are made of paper / cardboard / super thin wood. However it is about the train not the accessories.

High marks for detail.However, the train stalls at any speed. You have to nudge the tiny locomotive to get it going.I checked the continuity of the track.Ninety percent of the time, you had to nudge it to get it going. Even straight off the hot rail.I am disappointed in the brand and am returning it.

Marklin has been making these Z gauge train sets for a long time. But it seems they have slipped in quality control lately. My set came with a dead power adapter. I have other Z gauge trains so I had a spare one to use with this set. But what a disappointment this would have been to give as a gift on Xmas morning and it wouldn't run due to a faulty power supply. I had to dock off 2 stars for this. This is not acceptable given the amount of money these sets cost.Once the train was set up, and I hooked my own supply to it, it ran just fine. It does come with a railer tool which was a nice surprise. It makes it easier to put the cars on the track.Word to the wise, these kits require a bit of patience to set up. Take your time and all will go well. These tiny trains require a fair amount of maintenance. They need cleaning and oiling about every 20 hours of use or so. Also, Marklin is still using the wrong oil as the locomotives can gum up after some time passes. Use synthetic oil going forward.
