Marvel Cyclops Action Figure

This is just an awesome Jim Lee Cyclops Marvel Legends figure. Of you grew up watching the cartoons and reading the comics you'll definitely want to get this figure. The head sculpt is amazing and very well painted. I belive the visor is a different piece from the head so there is no paint bleeding anywhere. The hair has a very good black wash that makes the sculpt in it stand out. The red lense of the visor is very well painted as well. Like every Marvel Legend the articulation is superb. Unfortunately there's also quite a bit wrong with the figure. Most noticeable of all is the lack of shading throughout the whole body. A little wash would have made this figure look a lot better. Also the cuffs on the wrist and ankles; as well as the thigh straps; are not held in place permanently so you will have to constantly adjust them. I was able to wedge them so that they stay put for a good while but it would have been nice if they were permanently attached. All in all this is a great figure that is held back by some slight issues but in my opinion is still a must grab for Marvel Legends collectors.

This is the sculpting of Cyclops longtime X-men fans have been waiting for since the 1990s. Marvel Legends Cyclops from this Target exclusive X-men line depicts 90s era Jim Lee style Cyclops. This was also the version made famous by the 90s animated series. The facial sculpting captures the signature jawline,stern commanding expression and hair of the X-men leader. Most versions of Cyclops depict him with the full head covering hood and this sculpting is a great improvement over the prior attempt of 90s Era Cyclops from the X-men Legends line. Additional positives in the sculpting include the sculpting of the left hand. The character was often depicted pressing his visor in this fashion pose in both the comics and animated series. The chest straps are ridged and have an accurate look to original artwork. However, the coloration of the chest straps and belt is a orange-yellow.The thigh glove and boot straps are delicate and may require glue for display purposes out of package. Additional accessories other than the build-a-figure Warlock piece would have been nice, such as a removable leather jacket that was also a signature. Fans of the X-men looking to complete their 90s era X-men team should definitely pick up this version of Scott Summers.

An updated Marvel Legends 90's style Cyclops was a long time coming, but well worth the wait. As with some other collectors, he was the only one in the wave that I couldn't find at retail. At $25.07 with Prime shipping, I decided to pull the trigger. I rarely pay over retail price for a figure still available at retail, but for the price, I'm definitely satisfied.The figure has the got the same good quality, durability, playability and super poseability you can expect from a Marvel Legends figure, with nice tight joints. Unfortunately, mine had some very minor paint scuffing on his chin, but nothing so bad that it ruins the figure for me. If I had any actual issue with the figure, it's that the bands around his wrist, thighs and calves are not glued down, or better yet sculpted on, so they have the tendency to loosen. If not for that, I would have given him five stars. I'm considering gluing them in place myself.Otherwise, overall a great figure, very faithful to the iconic and beloved Jim Lee design. A total must have for a fan of 90's era X-Men comics and cartoon, highly recommend it!

It’s a figure that’s actually pictured. My collection is complete

This is the second one I've purchased in the last couple of weeks because I'm a collector who likes to keep many of my figures sealed. Now with that being said, I also open certain figures for my showcase. This figure, as well as the first one came in excellent condition. I had to literally inspect both of them simultaneously before deciding on which one to open because the packaging was superb for both figures. I was extremely happy with both purchases, especially since I caught them both around $25 a piece and they have been incognito in retail. I buy a lot of figures from brick and mortar stores so I can pick the best packaging and it's a gamble to buy online, but I'll have to give amazon props on these purchases because they were well worth the money.
