Beware. This may look like a flowery gentle self help book. It is not. If you are prepared to fully engage with it, it will drag up your past and how it affects you now almost to the point of tears with me. Helps you validate your feelings. Makes you see all the sides of your personality. So cathartic to write things down in the exercises - much more so than just reading a self help book. Will be trying to make journaling a daily routine now because of this book and how much it's helped me. The author has a new book out and I will definitely be purchasing. 100% recommend this.

I have been looking for a book I can work with for self-love. Many are endless pages of quotes or one-liners that amount to little or are just really negative comments that make one feel low immediately. I like this book because it asks questions I normally do not go near. Some bits are simply drawing, some are lists and others are self-searching work. The book is great for me because what I initially find I cannot answer or will not look at sits in my head so that at a later point I find an honest answer rises from within me. I am a happy purchaser.

This book is great to fill in. Some of the questions are a little home hitting and they do make you stop and think. Some of them may not be relevant to how you’re feeling but I love it!

Lovely design with some great prompting questions. I purchased this for my sister who is doing a counselling course and it was everything I wanted for her journey. It allows you to dig deeper into emotional feelings and response.
