I'm still figured out how to get better scans of pictures but I really enjoy it already. Easy to use. Plug straight up to the computer to view the images. Can set it for pictures (JPEG) or documents (PDF) before beginning the scan. Look forward to using it more in my classroom.

Absolutely awful scanner
Absolutely awful scanner. Batteries last maybe 20 scans, interface is ridiculously confusing, quality of scans is very poor.

Difficult to use.
Difficult to use, and takes several tries. It might just take practice. I tried to use it to scan pictures in a large photo album, and it stopped scanning frequently in the middle of the page. I don't think that it's a bad brand. I think that just may be the difficulty with hand wand scanners.

Distorted images
Hard to use. Images always distorted. Was a waste of money.

This can be a four or a five stare. Works good remember you are the one keeping things straight. Work or play with it some before you need it. We us in genealogy hobby. Find it very useful.Like I wrote play with it on text of different types and photos. Think you will like it. Flat B scanner is best only having one in your bag in a small library or courthouse or other place can be interesting.

Don't waste your $$
I've had handheld scanners before, but this one is very poor. Extremely hard to get the speed right and the battery usage is insane. Only get about 25 scans from a set of batteries.
