Just what my 66 Ford F100 needed
The media could not be loaded. When they say run both wires to the battery, they mean it. I thought there was something wrong with it until I actually followed the instructions! Works great and was easy to install.

Looks good in my dash,really like that it is a glass face. Dis likes is having to take the unit apart to change the cylinders, keep an eye on the red pointer -- it goes in hiding and use a lube on the gasket to get things back to gather. I like vaseline!

The tach has very good instructions.
The tach does not set on "0" when the engine isn't running but once the engine is running the tach performs well. The tach looks nice mounted to the steering column and was reasonably priced.

Doesn't work properly
When I connected this tach it never displayed the correct RPM, it was about twice the correct revs. I tried switching the 4-6-8 cylinder adjustment many times but it always read far too many RPM. I can't find any adjustments for the high readings, so I am stuck. Be careful with what you buy. This may have been returned before I bought it.

Works great right out of the box, no calibration needed, perfect fit in my boat dashboard
I'm using this on an inboard boat with Chevy engine, and it works great. Hook-up was simple and straightforward and it didn't need any adjustment or calibration (I verified with a handheld tach). I did accidentally buy the wrong size the first time, but I liked it so much I kept both just in case I need another one. The 3-3/8" version was a perfect fit in my existing dashboard cutout.

Great quality and easy install
Exactly what I wanted for an old truck. Everything was included, great instructions and accurate rpm readings. This tach can be set for 4/6/8 cylinders. Working great and looks great,
