Q: Does unit shut off when pressure hit 60 psi?

Yes. Then drops to 40psi and runs again. There are two adjustments. The main adjustment lowers or raises the pressure. There will still be a 20psi differential from on to off. You can adjust pressure from 60psi to 50psi (50psi / 30psi) by turning adjustment up (loosy goosy) or 40/20 etc. Factory is set to 60/40. BTW, MAKE SURE you turn the breaker and all electricity OFF before installing unit.

Q: Are any of your water pump switches 'ant proof'. we have caribbean crazy ants and they love your switches. they short it out with their bodies.

No one can understand the problem unless they have experienced it. We were plagued by them this year. I keep them out of my bee hives with this sticky paint Tanglefoot 018441950082 300000588 8-Ounce Tangle Brush On Sticky Trap Coating. Thankfully have not had them in the pump control. For a more secure and permanent approach you may also want to look at installing (or having installed) electrical cable glands. As an example see uxcell 10 Pcs PG21 Waterproof IP68 Nylon Cable Gland. They are a bit tricky to buy because you have to get the right size, both internal and external diameter. We used this style (not brand) on all our industrial equipment in remote locations. Hope this helps. At least crazy ants don't bite with the venom that fire ants do - they are evil - and attracted to electrical fields

Q: Does anyone know if they make some sort of arc suppression device, so the contacts won't arc and pit?

Not that I'm aware of. Instead upgrade the contacts to a higher current rating model. 9013FYG is rated 2.2kw @220v 1phase power. The FYG is rated at 3hp. the FSG is rated at 1.5hp
