For Jeep 2007 - 2018 Wrangler's OEM Electronic 3-Button Remote Head Key Fob, is a great option for Jeep owners whose original Jeep key fob, is worn, or, ended up with a damaged /fob, or, lost the 2nd factory spare.Purchased 2 key fob's, for my Jeep Wrangler JK, as the Main one was very worn, and had misplaced my spare one.Caveat - These are OEM off-market remote key fob's, and Not Jeep factory issued. I did call the Jeep Dealer on our island, and they "Guess-timated about $245 + tax for Mopar parts & programming.Note - the factory Mopar Jeep key fobs, do have the Jeep Logo on the back, but, you will need to either purchase them from a Chysler dealer, or from Mopar, or, sometimes you can find brand, new Mopar parts on eee Bay, but, never buy a Used one, obviously, FYIOption #2 - ordered two OEM key fobs, and called a highly-rated Mobile lock smith, who arrived in his totally out-fitted van. he cut the keys, programmed both, and tested each one ... Perfect!$40 bucks each + $25 bucks for Mobile services ... that was earlier in the year, they work Perfect!Understand that I live in a remote island in the middle of the Pacific, so when a "deal" comes along, you jump on it.Buy Again? Wife only had one key to her jeep, this programmed easy with my scanner and pulling the pin. Only hiccup was at first it would only start the vehicle no buttons worked, took key apart and something must have been assembled wrong because after that it worked.

I was a bit skeptical if this key fob replacement was truly OEM, and it definitely is. After some troubleshooting, I figured out that one of my original key fobs had moisture damage that would cause it to unlock my Jeep continually, even at night, so I had to remove the battery and use the other key fob I had. However, with how long I have owned this Jeep, both original fobs were very worn out.If you still have your two manufacturer fobs, you can easily program it yourself by following any of a number of YouTube instructions (I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler). The other concern is where to get the key cut, and my local hardware store had no issue with cutting the new key from the old for $2.50, so I spent WAY less buying this key fob, programming it myself and getting it cut than if I had gone to the dealer or a locksmith. I love it so much that I think I will get a second one, so I will have two new keys. And the seller includes a lovely card with ways to contact them if you need help with cutting or programming your new fob. I am guessing they are helpful, though I was fortunate to be able to correct this myself.

My local locksmiths refused to cut the key. The claimed “It might ruin my machine because it might be made of steel” I asked them to test it with a magnet, they started mumbling about other metals being used. Bunch of baloney, all they wanted to do was sell me their $250 version. Took this key to Home Depot and they cut it with no problem. Dealership programmed it for $89. With two fobs I was able to buy a third and programmed it myself in 5 minutes.

Unlike others you may order, this one actually programs.

A lifesaver...I bought a used Jeep, which came with only one key. The local Jeep dealer wanted a fortune for each new key, so finding a source for a genuine MOPAR OEM part was a huge help! The dealer was reluctant to cut the keys and program them, until I was able to show him that they were genuine OEM parts. He was amazed - said that what I paid was well below their dealer cost. If you need a replacement key, I'd trust these guys.
