104-01 Spring Rain with 1-Ounce Packet

Love this stuff - one year ago in Feb 2016 I bought this product for $3.49 per packet....they have shot through the roof at a staggering $9.06 within one year...what the heck is going on with that? you can still buy this product elsewhere for last years price....why Amazon? Why?

Great scent. Made my house smell good for several days.Not noticable as long as I had hoped.Still it was more pleasant than the usual paint smell.

I bought this at the paint store on a whim when I was picking paint for our guest room. I selected the "Spring Rain" scent which smells fresh and gender neutral (not too girly) and had it mixed into 1 gallon of Benjamin Moore Aura paint. It kind of smells like laundry detergent or a Febreze air freshener.First Impressions: Wow, it is amazing to be painting and having it smell like laundry detergent instead of paint!!! That really was awesome - what a treat. As far as I could tell, the scent packet had no impact on color, sheen or usability of the paint.24 Hours Later: Ummm holy smokes, the whole house smells like Spring Rain! What have I done?! The scent was extremely strong in the hallway outside the room (with the door closed and all the windows in the room open) and also fairly noticeable all over the house. At this point, I was regretting my decision... It was like a Glade plug-in exploded all over me and I couldn't get away.1 Week Later: I decided I loved it again. I can't remember exactly how many days it took, but within a week the scent had dissipated to where it was only noticeable when you walked by the guest room with the door open. Whew! It was actually great - the scent was subtle yet noticeable every time I walked in the room to get something.3 months later: Still subtle yet noticeable upon entering the room, and still lovely! We had a guest stay with us, and she searched all around the room and even sniffed the blankets (LOL) trying to figure out where "that good smell" was coming from!!I would definitely buy again, anytime I painted, except for a bedroom where there's no other option but to sleep there for the next few nights. I think the scent would be overwhelming at first, but it is so nice after the initial scent fades a little.TL;DR. Scent is lovely, but it will probably be overpowering at first. It's so nice to paint with because your paint doesn't smell like paint!

We just repainted our whole interior and we used these in every gallon of paint. We love the fragrance which smells SO much better than that typical new paint smell. Just wish the scent lasted longer than 2-3 months.
