Q: Why red tube was empty?

Red tube is not empty. Did you read through the instructions? It does say that the red substance on the wall is dry and you need to add solutions from one of the other vials to it to dissolve the red substance for adding to the main test tube. Thank you

If it is one of the 5 toxic metals particularly lead and mercury, any result above 0 would be considered unacceptable. Thank you

Q: Once you test, how do you interpret results?

Included in the kit is a colour strip on the box which is calibrated with colour results. After you did the test and in 6 minutes, you will see the final colour of the result. Look down the test tube and match the colour you see to the colour strip provided and that will tell you the mercury ions present in ppm in the solution tested. The ideal result is "0" as our body does not need this metal even in minute amounts which is toxic to the body. Osumex USA
