Hi Debby, Thank you for your question. Jazzminton is very easy to play also for young kids but it always differs from one child to another. We just had a 4 year old boy for a visit and at the beginning he wasn't much able to play it but after a few tries he's gotten better and better and he loved it. :-)

Q: Can you play at night? it says they glow and have led birdies. has anyone played at night?

Thank you for asking. You can use these paddles but you would have to buy LED birdies extra to play at night. This is the title for the LED Birdies: "Jazzminton Paddle Extra LED Birdies Game".

Q: would it work in windy conditions outside or are the birdies too light?

No, it wouldn't work! the birdies are light!

Q: Will these float in a pool?

Thank you for asking! Yes, all the Jazzminton parts float and it's really now to play it in the pool, etc. but don't leave them in the water after playing. The birdie feathers are glued with water resistant glue but they should not stay in the water for a longer time. The paddles are wood so also float but don't leave them in the pool after done playing. Hope this helps and have fun playing Jazzminton!
