We have been making resin projects for 3 years now. When we started, about half of our projects didn't ever harden and we wasted a ton of resin. I'm sure some of it was user error. I'm also sure, it was the resin brands we were using. We tried 4 or 5 different resins and then I found this one 2 years ago and we won't be switching again!! I've bought 8 gallons so far!It has almost no bubbles. ( others were full of both microbubbles and big ones.) This brand is so clear! I love the look!It has a fantastic work time! 35 to 45 minutes before it gets too thick to pour. It does get warm but it does not get hot. One of the brands we tried even started smoking and it was burning my hand holding the container!This resin is just the right amount of thick. I pour it in the mold and it levels off, seeping down to to cover the bottom and sides. Dice molds require poking the corners with a toothpick but the resin by itself does a fantastic job on almost everything else. We were having a lot of holes around the rims of our resin before, but this resin doesnt have that issue!It takes me 3 to 4 minutes to mix the resin. I sit the resin in a sink full of hot water for a few minutes. I measure the hardener first. Then I measure the warmed resin into the same container and mix slowly. Scraping the sides and bottom now and then. When it's not cloudy anymore it's ready.It has turned out perfect every single time in the past 2 years. It doesn't stick to the mold. I'm so happy I found this resin!

The reviews were great & the piece was great as well. I usually use Dr. Crafty brand resin. The first thing I noticed was is seems… thicker than most resins I’ve used while I pour. Which would be ideal for bigger projects like table tops or maybe even for tumblers. Whereas I make small keychains and such so it can get frustrating dropping the thick resin into small molds. Secondly it leaves a LOT of bubbles. Like a lot. Tiny tiny bubbles so it takes a while to pop them all. More so frustrating in deep molds because I can’t pop them on the lower sides.One thing I can say though is that it does have a beautiful finish. (If you can pop all the bubbles!) it dries a lot more clear & shiny in comparison to others. However I usually add a lot of color to my projects so that’s not necessarily something important to me.Overall, it’s a nice product but it just doesn’t fit my needs. If you make small resin projects or aren’t keen on popping a lot of bubbles I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I've been on a DIY spree lately, tackling small projects around the house. This led me to discover the Nicpro Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin Kit, which has now become a staple in my crafting arsenal. The kit is as comprehensive as they come - it packs a 0.5 gallon of resin and 0.5 gallon of hardener, along with a bunch of handy accessories like measuring cups, silicone sticks, and gloves. They even throw in user instructions, which were clear and easy to follow.The first project I tackled was a mini river table. Mixing the epoxy was a breeze, thanks to the 1:1 ratio which takes the guesswork out of the equation. The 30-minute work time was ample for me to pour and spread the resin. The results have been consistently good, and the accessories included in the kit have held up well through multiple uses.

As for air bubbles, hardness, smell, and ease of use, this product works well. However, if you are using this as a coating resin, be aware that your side edges will not coat evenly, and there will be plenty of gaps. I purchased this product originally because the resin I normally use was discontinued. I had to purchase a second time because I had already begun a large project. Because of the uneven side coating, I won't purchase this again.
