WOW.... this spring has brought new life to my pedal. High tension. I love it!

Fast action & responsive pedal upgrades
These heavy duty springs are an excellent upgrade for bass drum pedals. I installed a pair on the Tama Speed Cobra Double Bass Pedal with a small amount of difficulty,using basic hand tools. It was a bit tricky at first, since the springs don't like to give that easily but once you figure out how to assemble the first spring, the second is easy. If you want really responsive action out of your ped, this is an inexpensive upgrade! Found these through the Warehouse deals section for basically two for the cost of one. I have been using them to perform and practice with my metal band and its been a very nice experience, easier to play fast and the action feels great.

Excellent tension!
They really feel nice, I love my new DW 5000 lefty double pedal and these really give me the additional tension I was looking for

Good pedal springs
If you find your tension springs are still too loose when you have them tightened all the way, these springs will give your pedals new life. They’re not the easiest to install due to their heavy nature, but once you get them on you’re golden! I went from having my DW9000’s tightened all the way down to having them a little more than halfway tightened. Cheap and easy way to make your pedals feel brand new again.

I ordered several other types. I needed a stronger spring and this was the one.

Cheap and easy way to speed up your pedal
I wanted to speed up the return of my PDP 700 double pedal. I tried maxing out the adjustment, but needed more. This spring did the trick. The movement is considerably quicker. Just do it.

Not quite right
Unfortunately the ringlets are thicker than the original DW spring and therefore won’t attach to the rest of the assembly.

Better than Even the Original Springs - Just do it
Totally worth it. Don't hesitate to buy them. Worth every single penny and brought the quality of my pedal up.
