Works fantastic
The media could not be loaded. Pros -it works great off road and in the snow, totally locks the diff up, easy to install. IMPORTANT axle end play specs, set them right!! Wife drives the vehicle and doesn’t notices it. on road works well also.Cons - install manual sucks, clunky at times, hard on tires. It is easy to install. Unfortunately in the Chrysler 9 1/4 diff I installed this on came with Posi case. And the original part I ordered was the one for the Posi case. I didn’t fit, called tech support to verify I had the right part, they were quick to help. Unfortunately I had to order this locker along with new open case $135 new spider gear set $70 “just for the shims” the backlash adjustment tool $25 bearing set $100, fee to get the bearing pressed on $40, and backlash gauge for $30. I installed this on a 1999 Durango 4wd. The installed required a lot more work also had to weld the abs/speed tone ring to the case because when installing the original ring gear to the new open case. The tone ring had enough clearance to spin free. Time consuming and annoy. But the locker works fantastic. On road it’s mildly noticeable clicking around turns and clunky at times. But overall not a big deal, my wife drives the Durango often and has never complained about it.Video upload was with vehicle in 2wd.

DONT BUY THIS FOR A 9.25 DODGE REAR!
DONT BUY THIS! Spend over 2 hours trying to fish the c clips off the axle after I found out the center pin doesn’t fit. (If y’all are her looking for answers on how to remove the c clip I recommend spraying brake cleaner or degreaser all over to dry it up so it don’t stick then once the c clip falls down into that nice inconvenient space they made for it to get stuck in jam a thin screw driver threw the gap in the teeth on both sides of the c clip and twist and bend your screw driver in it… good luck)

Best offroad mod, period.
Installed this locker into the rear my wheeler, a 03 durango, and took it offroad. Made a world of a difference in the dirt! Dang near unstoppable! The install was okay. The instructions are lacking, and are written in a generic form, so YouTube helped. Driveability is not effected as much as I've heard/read. Yes, you do hear the clicking when turning slow and tight, but only with the windows down and/or and radio low or off. And even then it's not loud. I also used 85w140, which helped quiet it down. Biggest driveability change is to coast through turns, and not power through. All in all, I would recommend this mod to anyone looking for some additional traction, be it on or offroad, wheeler or daily driver.

So far so good
I would give it 5 star but I've only had it in a few weeks and it's on a play toy so far seems to work exactly as intended maybe I'll do a follow up review

Works great
I love this unit. The only complaint is that there are shims that were not needed I'm my rear end. Would have been nice to know before I said alot of cuss words.

Stronger than a C-clip Detroit locker?!?!?!
Shipped to England no problems. I ordered the 1220-LR lock right for my 9.25 after I broke 2 Detroit lockers. I have been installing and running gears and Detroit lockers for 20 years with no issues until I got the 9.25 Detroit which is the C-clip style. The 9.25 Detroit broke shifting from nuetral to reverse at idle which is about 600-630 rpm. The 46re transmission has no accumulator for reverse gear so the 5.9magnum motor sends a huge amount of torque into the rear differential even at idle without the cushioning effect that an accumulator provides. When I initially got the first Detroit I was sceptical about the strength due to the massive hole machined out of it to fit the C-clips. After 1 month the first 1 blew up. I got a replacement under warranty and that one also exploded within a month. Thankfully they gave me a full refund. After looking very closely at the lock right design it was obvious that the teeth are stronger and virtually impossible to break unlike the tall thin teeth on the Detroit. So far it is much quieter and I am confident it will outlast the Detroit. I'll report back my findings in 6 months unless it breaks before then.

Works great but....
Works great but the instructions are a bit lacking. Called tech support and they informed me that the thin washers that were frustrating me so bad aren’t needed in every application. What not put that in the instructions? That would have saved me several hours and a whole lot of frustration.

Easy to install and worked
For less than $350 I just got my truck to drive across a 3' deep ditch without the slightest bit of hesitation. For half the price of a Detroit Locker I'd say it's worth every penny, especially after owning a couple of Detroit Lockers in the past and breaking both of them in less than 50,000 miles. It's actually quite easy to install and all you have to do is pull the passenger side axle shaft out to change it instead of both sides, no resetting backlash or bearing preloads or any of that extra stuff that extra lockers require. A guy with down syndrome and a 30 pack could easily get this installed in an afternoon. Don't forget to transfer the old thrust washers over from the spider gears, I have seen guys that forgot about those and ended up breaking the carrier later on.And by the way, this does fit the Dodge Ram 1500's up to 2010 with the 9.25 rear end. I just got done installing one in a 2007 model that broke the spider gears. There were no problems with the Lock Right that I received
