Study and built to last, buy it...
DIY/ House use - Used for about 6 months, and this is a perfect tool case. Sturdy with enough space for all the tools for general DIY tasks around my house. All tools in one place. The foldout tool holder is great feature. Heavy when filled but I don't carry this around too much.

Nice toolbox could do with a few twirks
I am a mobile repairman for white goods. Never a Stanley man really but I thought as it’s is sold as a technicians toolbox give it a go. It does the job the lock catches which to me fall to pieces on their other toolboxes have never failed. Only issue I have could do with better hinges because if you trap something in it the plastic grips start to break and that is the only reason I replace it. If you want a tool box to last years maybe try to still find it. I get a year out of these but it is abused as you can imagine. Looked at others but seem to be drawn to this.

Sturdy, well designed tool box.
I've been using this tool case for several months and I find it meets my needs perfectly. As all the tools are neatly laid out, I can make sure I don't leave anything behind before I pack up. The fold up top part is ingenious and allows double the amount of pliers and screwdrivers to be kept in the space available. It provides an overview of your tools as effectively as a cantilever design does which I like. Underneath the hinging flap is a deeper tray for longer tools and fixings with configurable compartments. The catches are very sturdy, as is the whole outer casing, pretty much bomb proof. I imagine you coluld stand on it without damaging it. It also has a lock facility to prevent anyone dipping in and helping themselves to tools. Overall, this is a solid, well thought out tool box that organises small tools very effectively. Only downside is the rather hight price. Also, it's not exactly featherweight!

Tough
Seems to be pretty good so far, wait and see if it lasts out like my previous ones, shame they only sell in yellow

Good
Good, not sure what the bottom shelf is for, doesn't secure down and just flaps about, when you pull the tool stand out it doesn't seem to lock into anything you just kind of balance it. It's ok but would have been better if it clicked in place.
