CSCS Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist Exam Prep: Study Guide that highlights the knowledge required to pass the CSCS Exam to become a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach.

I am reading this at home and off time at work then I will watch YouTube videos to help refine what I learned through the prep guide.

Passed the exam on the first try with over a 92% between the two sections. It also helped me pass the TSAC-F exam on the first try with a 94%. Highly recommend this study guide--as with all CPT Exam Prep Team books, this book is very concise with no fluff, and every practice question targets exactly what you need to know for the actual exam. They even caught a typo in the NSCA text for the Cunningham equation: RMR = 500 + 22(LBM in Kg). (NSCA has 550, but it should be 500, as it is in this study guide.)Aced every subsection except for Exercise Technique, which surprised me because that was my forte. Unfortunately, like most of the CSCS practice questions out there, this books lacks videos. CSCStestprep.com has videos, but they are for basic exercises. NSCA has some good videos in its online practice questions, but the questions themselves are relatively easy. So, to best prepare for the actual exam, be sure to spend extra time studying the videos that come with the NSCA textbook.I have looked at just about every CSCS study guide and practice exam book/app/webpage/etc out there. In my final week of preparation before taking the exam, the only materials I used were the CPT Exam Prep Team's study guide, CSCStestprep.com's study guide, NSCA's textbook, and NSCA's online practice questions. Of those resources, this study guide is the only one that takes the time to explain the most difficult questions (as opposed to just giving you the correct answer choice). Also, compared to the NSCA textbook (752 pages) and the CSCStestprep.com study guide (373 pages, almost half the length of the NSCA textbook, and a lot of it is clearly just copied/pasted from the NSCA textbook), this study guide (154 pages) is much more succinct with original content focusing only on the most salient concepts.

Unbelievable helpful in prepping for the CSCS. This certification entails a lot of information so to summarize and connect everything together made a big difference in my preparation. Kudos to the author!
