So far I love this compressor with tank.
Received this two days before the earliest delivery date, so thanks for that. I have a Paasche hose, and had to buy an inexpensive adapter to fit the hose. I have only used this once with my airbrush, and it worked flawlessly. It is very quiet. I will try to remember to update the post in the future after I have had more experience with the compressor. I will be using this exclusively to paint plastic models, and it seems to be perfect for this use. Since I will be spraying at 10 - 20 psi, the compressor will kick on well before the pressure would drop low enough to effect my spraying. I only have two minor complaints. One is there is no shut-off valve, which would have been nice, but the description shows it does not have one. I added one for about $6, so not a big deal. The other is that the ring used to release pressure is right behind a mount for the compressor to the tank, and makes using the ring a little difficult. Again, not a huge deal as the ring is usable, and not worth knocking off a star. I feel this compressor is a great deal for the price. UPDATE: I have had this compressor for about three months, and have used it to prime and paint a couple of models. It has worked flawlessly for me. I will stick with the 5 star rating. Quiet, dependable air at a great price.

Solid quiet compressor perfect for airbrushing
Very sturdy and quiet compressor, perfect for airbrushing. It came well-packaged and required no setup other than attaching an air hose. I had to order an adapter to fit my airbrush hose to the output port. The pressure regulator is easy to adjust and holds the set pressure very accurately. The compressor has a very small tank, so it cycles on and off a lot, especially with higher airflow uses, but itbis quiet enough that it isn't annoying, even with it right beside the work area.

Excellent compressor for the money
Excellent compressor for the money, the only thing to worry about is getting the proper adapter for a standard airbrush hose ($8), as others have mentioned. Otherwise, very smooth air pressure, everything works correctly, and other than being a tad noisy for my tastes (I used to use a CO2 tank-dead silent!) this is a good piece of gear for anyone other than a full-time professional airbrush t-shirt artist. To be clear, the noise isn't that bad, maybe low 50s decibels, about the same as traffic passing outside your window. The regulator works fine and seems accurate and consistent, and I haven't had to empty the moisture trap yet, but it seems well thought out and assembled. A good buy at $100, excellent at $75!

Worthy little compressor
PointZero 1/5 HP Airbrush Compressor with Air Tank arrived in a white box inside a shipping brown box and came with a small note that directs to a website for bonus airbrush guide (read virtual guide on-line). This small compressor is a good value. Compressor has nice rubber feet, is more or less quiet, has a 6' electrical cord, locking pressure adjustments, and fits a standard air brush hose. There are two minor items which can be considered faults worth mentioning: 1. There is no shut-off valve, so when airbrush or other item is disconnected all air is lost. Shut off valve can be purchased at local hardware store for under 10 bucks. 2. The ring used to purge/release pressure is behind a compressor mount making pulling ring difficult.

Not the compressor I expected but the one i needed
So I just recieved this little compressor today. First let me say the shipping was amazingly quick. I got this the very next day when I expected it a week a later. Next the product itself. I had already had to return a similar model from another company. As soon as I opened the box I could tell this was different. Looks like it was just pulled off the line. Taking it out supported this. The compressor was redesigned and actually better put together. The parts were flush the fittings tight but easily assembled. The motor showed more up todate configuration with the power button now lighting to show it is on. A cooling fan installed with a larger tank. This was the model i wanted. I hooked it up with my airbrush hose. This model did not include one but loses no points because i have many to spare. I didn’t have to wrap any of the screws for a sealed connection. The hose went on smoothly as if lubricated. This is always a sign of good craftsmanship. I turned it on and waited. I set the air pressure low and just as it reached pressure it stayed on just enough to fill it’s reserve and off. Let me say even running it’s quiet. My electric razor makes more noise. But it’s also got a nice setting of when to kick on when out of air and it refills quickly. This was the compressor I needed. The last one I had failed just about all these measures causing a return. This one succeeds and surpasses. So yes buy it for your art modeling or whatever. Don’t expect to run a air tool but everything will be just fine.

The compressor I've wanted for 25 years.
I've used an airbrush for model work on and off for the past 25 years, and in that time have made due with various models of tankless diaphragm compressors. They've worked well enough, but they were loud, hot (as a result of needing to run continuously), and sometimes subject to pulsing. I'd always wanted a compressor with a tank and an auto shutoff - I just never wanted to pay the historical asking prices for them. This compressor is everything I've wanted - cool, quiet, and with a tank that provides a steady stream of air fed by a compressor with an auto shutoff when it reaches the set pressure. All at a lower price than I paid for my crude diaphragm compressors 20+ years ago and roughly 1/3 of what similar compressors used to cost. As a test I hooked everything up and let the tank pressurize, then I turned off the compressor and unplugged it and let it sit overnight. It held pressure perfectly overnight with no leaks at all. The hose fitting is indeed 1/8" BSP, so plan for that if you need any adapters for your current equipment.
