Quite LITERALLY the best for it's value.
Microphone is amazing, sound is clear compared to probably EVERY USB microphone that exists. Extremely simple to mute and control the volume; quite literally a simple plug-and-play. It's a nice clean look, the range is soso but not overly bad on it. The TWO main issues I have, being the cable is 'sensitive' while having to adjust the cable here and there or else I'm getting single ear-cup audio on my HD599. The second issue being the metal 'cable' for the microphone itself is kind of droopy and needs to be adjusted every now and then. But for $20 - this is probably THE best microphone I've ever used. I've got a pretty deep voice, and it picks up extremely well, whereas using a snowball ICE from years ago, and a Yeti sounded like mud. TO ADD; Paired with Sennheiser 599s, don't make the silly mistake I did, buying an adapter without the horrible locking mechanism Sennheiser added to their headphones lmao.

Good product! First one had issues, but replacement works great paired with my Philips SHP9500 headphones.
The audio quality is great and there is no discernible hissing. The cable is braided and feels like a quality cable. It has a 45 degree jack on the end which is also nice. Included is a PC Y-adapter with separate jacks for audio and microphone use. The microphone works well and is easily adjustable. However, I do have one issue with the BoomPro. The in-line volume control/mic mute switch has an issue with the volume control wheel. If the volume wheel isn't turned all the way up, it will only output either left or right channel audio. If you push against the volume control wheel then you'll get stereo audio, but as soon as you stop pushing against it, it will revert back to mono audio. I've registered my product with V-Moda using their easy to use QR code system and have submitted a support ticket. Other than that it seems like a great product that should work well with any headphone that supports a 3.5mm input jack. I'm using my V-Moda BoomPro with the Philips SHP9500 headphones http://amzn.com/B00ENMK1DW. I use them for music, console gaming (Xbox One: I have the Elite controller which has a 3.5mm jack so there is no need for an adapter) and for PC gaming. I will update this review and revise my star rating once the problem has been fixed to my satisfaction. UPDATE: I received an email from V-Moda Customer Service on 12/24/15. They requested that I destroy the product by cutting it up and that I provide pictures as proof of destruction. I emailed them today (12/28/15) and I sent proof, along with my address. They are going to send me a new BoomPro Mic free of charge and I'll update the review once I receive my replacement unit. UPDATE 1/10/16: V-Moda Six Star Service has been great, albeit a bit slow to respond. I guess they had been dealing with illness at the office and my support ticket wasn't transferred to the next person in line. However, the agent I spoke to (David) did come through and I received my replacement unit yesterday 1/09/16. I am happy to report that this unit has none of the volume control issues that my first one did and I am satisfied with how V-Moda rectified the problem. I assume that this was a limited QA/QC issue and I do hope that no other issues arise. So far I am very happy with this product and I will update this review if that changes.

BoomPro is Still a Fantastic Option
I initially bought these for my Astro A40's because the microphone is horrible. Turns out the A40's don't work because Astro decided to use a longer 5 pole 3.5 jack which didn't work with this product. A shame I couldn't find an adapter either. So instead I am temporarily using the mixamp with the original Skullcandy Crusher wireless. I tried using the Crusher ANC, but the 3.5 jack is on the right side of the headphones and I didn't like having to rotate the microphone boom like that. The jack fits nicely though, it doesn't feel loose and it doesn't swing around. So far the sound quality is good, it does utilize the bass drivers in the Crushers. I mainly bought these because the microphone is incredible. Most programs I use such as Discord or Xbox party chat have filtering, but it does let a lot of background noise through normal voice recordings. Here are my cons so far: The braided cable makes a lot of noise and transmits into the microphone which can be heard with Astro's sidetone (feature that lets you hear yourself) enabled. There is no indicator when you are muted. The mute slider is not that good, I thought the logo was a giant mute button. You have to use a stand or be careful while laying your headphones down as this mic doesn't flip up or retract. There is some hiss noise at higher volume. The boom arm doesn't seem to have a lot of retention to hold it's position, might be an issue in the future.

Veio bem embalado e chegou antes do esperado.

I have the original V-Moda Boom Pro. This is a side-grade that I was happy to get as I often game in the same room as my partner. We are only 4 feet apart, and the old mic would pick up her voice unless I set a very high noise gate in Discord. Anything auto/AI noise canceling was hit or miss, as it would decide that her speaking was my speaking. After setting up this mic, ensuring it's within an inch of my mouth, and angling it correctly—wow! She can now yell at her screen and my mic doesn't pick it up at all. The sound quality is a slight step down, but I'm picky about such things and my friends on Discord didn't notice or comment on it.
