Lightweight & convenient design for camping - and can use at home with a queen bed
Just what I expected but with a bonus. This is a relatively inexpensive and convenient mosquito net. It's a great design for mobile use outdoors (like camping) being very lightweight, small and easily folding/twisting up to fit in the pouch it comes with. So I bought it for that intended use but found I could also use it at home because it does totally enclose my queen sized bed.I had also ordered a bigger and sturdier army surplus type at the same time that I thought I would need to really enclose the full length of the bed without getting in my way by hanging too low at the head or foot of the mattress. But by the time it was delivered I found that this smaller and easier to work with style did the job and allowed me to better view the television through the net than the heavy green net would. I have high posts on the headboard and this net is large enough to drape over and behind those posts providing enough head room for an adult to sit up completely straight against the headboard if for some reason one wanted to do that.I can't keep the m#&*^@! skeeters out of my Florida beach house and they were driving me crazy waking me up once or twice most nights with bites on my arms, face, back . . . . I hadn't gone through more than one or two nights without an attack since the weather began to warm up in early March. But in the two weeks I've been using this I haven't been bitten once. Well, not when I'm in bed anyway. It's not very sturdy (unlike the army surplus type) so I'm sure it would be pretty easy to accidentally tear it. You can't have it all, if you want light weight and small size you have to sacrifice some strength and durability. But so far so good even for a less than graceful and typically careless dude like myself. No rips or tears or damage so far even after having to move it around to change the sheets. I assume this lightweight version also allows for better air circulation than the more heavy duty nets for those of us who live in warm climes.

Bad for bugs, great for you
If I could give it 8 stars I would. Using it right now on Grand Cayman and the mosquitoes are very aggressive. On top of that they just love my girlfriend which means if I didn't have this the restful vacation is pretty much toast. But for the last four nights its worked like a charm. I find it paricularly pleasing that the mosquitos that somehow made it into the room will have to go hungry for another night. It was incredibly easy to use, works well fit easily over a double size bed in our resort and it makes me look good since she thought I was over doing it when I ordered it. So far she's happy - sleeps through the night and so I am happy and get to sleep through the night! It's light, small and easy to pack - even comes with a small hook for easy installation. Didn't know if I would need it when I ordered it but so glad I did.

Worked for car windows while car camping
Bought it not for placing over a bed sleeping area, but cut into pieces in order to cover windows of my car while car camping. Worked well - held against car sides with magnets. Held up in a heavy rain. Kept out mosquitos for an uninterrupted night's sleep in my car. It is BIG! Plenty left over to give to another person for coverage over the sleeping area.

Nice product and easy to use
Nice product and easy to use. My wife and I used this on a recent trip to the Amazon region in Peru. Fits a double to queen size bed easily. Packing and unpacking is quite easy, just twist and fold the netting in. If you want an economical Mosquito net, that keeps out more than the bugs, i.e. spiders and lizards, this is a great option.

holes too big
convient travel bag, easy to hang from ceiling, but holes were much larger than expected. This is a major, and irresponsible drawback considering the purpose of the product. Did not stop ants from getting to the bed… definitely did not stop mosquitos, etc. and that is necessary when you are traveling to a country with malaria…Need to specify that holes are too large for ants and small mosquitos in south america.

So glad I had this
Bought this for a trip to Panama and Costa Rica, as some of the places we stayed at were rustic lodgings in the jungle. So glad I had this!! One cabin we stayed in had gaps in the floorboards and walls, and as soon as it was dark, all manner of creepy-crawly insects and spiders paid a visit. Wouldn't have gotten a minute of sleep without this. It was generous enough to cover a double bed and draped long enough to tuck the ends under the mattress for extra security. Highly recommend, it performed great! (Before leaving, I hung it on a clothesline and sprayed the netting with Permethrin as a little extra protection.)

Too small
This net is pretty small, maybe intended for a cut versus a twin bed. The top is so small that the net suctions in toward you on the bed laying against your skin and defeating the purpose. It's also very delicate and catches on things and rips easily. It is very compact and easy to take down, which is great for travel. I don't think I would buy this again.

Convenient but frail
I love the collapsible wire hoop on top. It is so easy to take down and pack with you. I love to use it for a play space for the baby. Just pop it open and hook to the nearest tree.Cons: very snaggable material. With two boys I fear it will have substantial damage before too long. And the hole are fairly big in the net. Enough to keep out Mosquitos, but just barely.
