Nice Touchscreen Monitor at a Good Price
I used this touchscreen to create a menu system for a museum video kiosk. The monitor came with everything needed, including the power suppply, an HDMI cable, and the usb cable. This worked great with a Raspberry Pi 4.One note though - the monitor does not have any speakers, so you won't get HDMI audio output. In my case, I purchased a powered USB speaker and plugged that into the Raspberry Pi
C**.
Excellent vaue
Use on a warehouse cart for inventory. Excellent product.

Fine as a menu, feels like it was made in 2010
The viewing angles on this are absolutely terrible. I mean terrible. Remember laptops from 1995? Yeah, that. It's all but invisible from anything straight on. So, if you are wanting to use this as a regular monitor, don't.You do have to put the base together. It's not that difficult. There are just 8 screws. The base is extremely stiff and doesn't like to tilt, so tilt it so you'll be able to get the screws in. You'll break the monitor if you try to tilt it with only two screws in.To get this working with windows 11 I just plugged it in. You need to plug in HDMI (or VGA) for video and then USB-A for the touch. Windows 11 immediately recognized it and it worked as soon as the computer booted up.Colors aren't bad, when you are staring straight at it. It looks better when you turn up the brightness. Contrast isn't spectacular. The base is quite heavy. Even if you bash the screen to touch, it should stay put. You don't need to bash it, but some people do. It'll be fine.As a computer monitor, this is 3/5 if I'm being generous. As a menu monitor, it's 4.5/5. The godawful viewing angles aren't such a big deal when you just have it set up with a menu running. It does feel like it was made in 2010. A 2024 version of this should have USB-C and probably not bezels this huge.
