Review of Acoustic Panels
These Acoustic panels are great for my little dorm room! They heavily reduced the noise in my room because my walls have no insulation, causing a bad echo. They look nice on my wall and don't stick out much. I feel like they make my room a lot more professional. Their size is perfect for a room like mine - not too big and not too small. They fit perfectly in my desk hutch backing for when I play video games. The case quality of them when they came in was what I expected. They were vacuum sealed and it took about a day for them to return to their original form. They were easy to put up, though I have to warn that they did not come with any adhesive backing so you will have to use your own push pins because the foam does not hold up very well with tape. Other than that, they are a great product and I will use them in my room at home after move out!

Stuck/squished corners fixed by simply gently pulling them each direction
These work really well. I didn't wait 2 days. I had them ready to post up within 6 hours. After pulling it out of the plastic they began to rise by themselves. I quicken the process by simply gently pulling the stubborn corners in each direction. I also got them to fluff evenly all around by gently tugging opposite corners as well as the mid left side to right side. Pulling too hard would probably rip it. To rid of the smell quickly I stood each square upright in my bathroom-- some against the wall, and some leaning on each other-- so it can air out. The major thing that helped here is that I have an exhaust fan in the bathroom, and so by closing the door it sucked air through the foam even more quickly. Didn't have to stink up the house or leave it outside where allergens might grab on. As for adhesion, the thing that worked for me was letting spray adhesive on the backside, and then using velcro with the adhesive backs on them. This doesn't cancel out noise completely like some people expect here... but it definitely does a great job dampening to a large extent. I have thin windows, and the neighbor hasn't had a problem with me since.

Self adhesive tile
Super easy to install, but we used on a ceiling and the self adhesive wasn’t strong enough to keep them attached. Had to get some spray adhesive to make them stick

Noise canceling not so great but absorbs all the light
I see these to cover my windows because my neighbor got an annoying rooster . They block out the sun and 4/10 on the noise . They did expand to their actual size and were relatively easy to fix on to the wall . However they didn’t serve for the purpose intended but they will work fine for a basement studio S

Works so well for an echoey room!
They honestly make a huge difference in our studio room. We use it for recording for YouTube and audiobooks and it helps so much with the echo of the room. It's incredible how much of a difference it makes. I stuck a tack through each one to hang them up (so it looks kinda ghetto), but it gets the job done. There aren't as much as I needed probably, but I've got them on two different walls, like 12 apiece, so ya know lol. It's about the results and not the appearance I guess.

Excellent sound absorption. • Effective and aesthetically attractive pyramidal design.
I bought this pack of 24 pyramidal acoustic panels of 12 x 12 x 2 inches to improve the acoustics of my home studio, and the truth is that they exceeded my expectations. From the first moment, I noticed a significant reduction in echoes and reverbs inside the room. The pyramidal shape helps to disperse the sound waves evenly, which improves both the quality of the recordings and the overall listening experience. The panels are of high density, which translates into more effective sound absorption compared to other thinner or less compact models. In addition, the fact that they are fire resistant gives me much more peace of mind when using them in closed spaces with electrical equipment. Another point to highlight is how easy they are to install. With a good adhesive (not included), the panels are easily fixed on both walls and ceilings. The black finish gives a professional and modern touch to the space.

Inconsistency - some panels expand, some don’t
We bought several packs of these within a few months while sound proofing our basement. The size was perfect for our application. The problem is that some packs perfectly expanded where we could use all of the panels, where other packs some panels only partially expanded to the point that we couldn’t use them. One pack had so many faulty panels that we requested a replacement. Amazon stated that we could just take them to the UPS store, but unfortunately, the UPS store said they were too large and would not accept them. We then contacted Amazon, who kept saying that we just needed to take time to the UPS store (no box required). In the end, we were never able to return them and since Amazon had sent a replacement, we were charged even though we couldn’t use them.
