Easy to install
Carbon monoxide detectors easy to install. Added piece of mind. Easy to test. Installed close to ceiling, as instructed. Protection started up right away.

Compact, inexpensive and shows a quantitative readout of CO level.
Our AirBnB properties have to have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors; after 6 years both failed in our "Yurt with a View." Getting two of these was cheaper than most off-the-shelf CO detectors.I tested one by holding it over a freshly-extinquished candle and it read 40 units on the digital scale, so I'm satisfied that it could detect carbon monoxide adequately.Too early to comment on battery life.

The only reason I gave it four stars as I haven’t really tested it with carbon dioxide Propane leak they seem well made the test button works perfect and I believe there are a fair price

Does the job?
I am shocked how small it was as you can see in comparison to the smoke detector. I am not thrilled the numbers are hard to see from the floor otherwise it does the job and it's a good price. The installation is a bit weird but not too difficult. I'd purchase it again for the price but man I'd rly like to be able to see the numbers from the ground. Now is it accurate...no clue lol. I have nothing else to compare it with. Yet, better than nothing which is what I had moving into a house fueled by gas.

FRAGILE , Critical placement required
Placement of device is absolutely critical for sensitive monitoring and alert activation. One drop, nock, hit or bump will damage the device making it useless. Continuous daily checking the batteries is necessay to maintain operational status.
