It took me a couple of months to pluck up the courage to try this hair toner, as I was afraid I might end up looking a bit weird. However, I have used it a few times now, and I really love the effect it has on my grey hair. The lighter, whiter parts go noticeably purple, subtle (not full on) purple and the darker parts of my grey hair go a darker shade of grey with a bit of a hint of purple. The overall effect is very pleasing. It gives my otherwise boring, oldish looking hair a bit of zestiness, and knocks a few years of me I think. I certainly don't look at all weird, and I am definitely intending using this toner until may be I decide to try pink. My method of application is to use it in the shower, after shampoo and conditioning. It is very runny, so I just tip the bottle over my head, pour a little bit, then repeat until I think I have covered all of my hair. Yes, it does make a mess but, with the shower running, any excess soon disappears and it leaves no stain on my hands or on the shower surfaces. I do suggest using an old towel for drying, although I forgot the first time and it didn't cause any permanent stain to the towel I was used. I am now a big fan of this toner, and I will suggest it to other 'grey haired old ladies' who want to give their hair a super boost!

I've been using this to keep my white hair pink for a couple of years now. It's easy to use. I just mix it into the shampoo and leave it for a minute or so. It gives me a nice delicate pink.

I bought this, looking at the reviews, to add to my 'infuse my colour' shampoo, in pink/ruby, and it works perfectly, really good. The bottle arrived leaking into it's plastic bag wrapper, and it's watery strong pink pigment basically goes everywhere, but a teaspoon, roughly, added to a quarter of the infusemycolour shampoo bottle and then used as a daily or every other day shampoo works well for blending in the stubborn grey at the temples, a nice subtle non-orangey pink, and no rub off on pillow cases or towels. No regrowth either then, obviously. It'll last me for ages, and it's a perfect colouring combination for me.

Brilliant - but powerful! Ok so I don’t know about the water mixing method but if you are looking for vivid pink then I’m sure it would work. For me, I only want the slightest pink hint so I put literally 4 or 5 drops in a big blob of conditioner and mix it very well. Apply to clean damp or dry hair and leave for ten minutes before rinsing. Brilliant results! And cos it’s mixed with conditioner my hair isn’t dry and brittle as it can be with other toners. Total bargain as this bottle will last me a year! Might even get the purple one and mix together. Oh, and do not spill the neat product - stains catastrophically

I ordered this as a pink shampoo. Horrendous, went to wash my hair with this . What came out was red water . Went all over bath , stained my skin. Took some getting off. When rinsing, took forever . When finished still water was running red. When dried hair all patchy. Please don't purchase.

This is a hair rinse, which works immediately and is rather powerful. You put a teaspoon of it in a litre of water and use it as a final rinse, not washing it out. Be aware though, that it's a strong colourant and may well stain your sink or bath, and your towels as well. I was able to get the stain off the sink by scrubbing immediately, but it took a bit of effort and if I had left it for any time it might not have come off.

I have bleached hair and I have dyed my hair pink (and various other colours) before using various “permanent” and semi permanent brands. For the longest time I swore by Renbow Crazy Colour (little pink bottle), which is a thicker substance and is semi permanent. I saw this and was interested by the instructions and the reviews. I followed as per the instructions (2 litres water and a tablespoon of dye) and was really surprised. I put conditioner in my hair, then flipped my head upside down and dunked the tips and immediately they went pink. I dunked all of my hair - I was a bit worried it would stain my hands and head but it didn’t seem to, so I cupped handfuls of pink water onto my scalp area and no staining occurred. The scalp area isn’t as pink as I’d like, but I am still very impressed at how quick and easy this product is, and how a little dye made such a difference, there’s definitely value for money. I will probably do what the other reviewers have done and put some dye in my conditioner next time, as that’s what I used to do with Crazy Colour. I would definitely recommend this, I think my process just needs a bit of refinement to get all of my hair the same colour. You must have light hair for this to work - my roots have grown through and they aren’t pink (and I wasn’t expecting them to go pink, this isn’t a negative remark, just a heads up for those with dark hair)

Ho provato il Tonico per Capelli Cameleo Viola e devo dire che, nel complesso, sono rimasta molto soddisfatta. Una delle cose che apprezzo maggiormente è la sua versatilità d'uso: posso aggiungerlo a shampoo, balsamo o utilizzarlo diluito nell’acqua durante il risciacquo. Questo permette di adattarlo alle esigenze del momento e di dosare l’intensità del risultato. La capacità del tonico di neutralizzare i toni gialli nei capelli biondi e grigi è notevole. Utilizzato regolarmente, mantiene una tonalità fredda e naturale, che persiste fino a 10 lavaggi senza bisogno di ritocchi frequenti. Inizialmente ho avuto qualche difficoltà con l’applicazione, soprattutto per ottenere una colorazione uniforme. Tuttavia, ho risolto il problema cambiando approccio: Massaggiando con cura piccole ciocche e pettinando i capelli prima del risciacquo, sono riuscita a distribuire il prodotto in modo più omogeneo. Un metodo alternativo che ha funzionato alla perfezione è stato riempire un secchio con 2 litri d’acqua e 2 cucchiai di tonico, immergendo completamente i capelli. Questo accorgimento, unito al separare le ciocche manualmente nell’acqua, ha prodotto un risultato davvero fantastico e uniforme. L’unico aspetto negativo è che il tonico può macchiare le superfici, come lavandini e vasche da bagno. Ho imparato a pulire immediatamente dopo l’uso per evitare segni persistenti, e con questa accortezza il problema è facilmente gestibile. In sintesi, lo consiglio a chi desidera mantenere una tonalità fredda e naturale nei capelli biondi, bianchi o grigi. Con un po’ di pratica nell’applicazione, il prodotto offre risultati eccellenti e una lunga durata.

The color is completely not as advertised. It is also not as pigmented as the pink version. Disappointing. It's basically deluded pink version and it should be orange.
