3D Movie Virtual Reality Glasses, 3D VR Headset with Adjustable Lens and Strap for iPhone, Android 4.7-5.7 inch Smartphones (Have Three Optic Glasses for Different Eyesight)

So these are pretty fun. I used it with my iphone 6 with a split screen video. It was a little blurry no matter what lenses I used, but it was very cool. My husband really liked it and didn't seem to have any issues.

These VR glasses are the first ones I've seen that come with interchangeable diopters to accommodate those who are very near-sighted (like me). With other models I've had to keep my glasses on while using the VR glasses because I couldn't see what was on my phone screen. However, this set includes three different strengths of diopter (0-3.5, 3.5-5.5, and 5.5-8) and with the strongest one I was able to use these glasses without wearing my eyeglasses. There are holes on either side of the unit to allow for headphone connection, which is another feature I don't see on every pair.The VR glasses are supposed to accommodate smart phones that are 5"-5.7" but my iPhone 5 was too short to stay securely even with the sliding brackets at their shortest distance. Add that to the fact that the front of the unit comes off completely (as opposed to opening from the top but being hinged on the bottom) and I didn't feel at all comfortable that my phone would stay securely in place. There is no way to adjust anything (other than the head strap), which is a shortcoming from other models I've tried.Overall, I'd say this particular model has some good points but leaves some things to be desired. Perhaps if the seller could stay with the idea of the diopters but upgrade to a higher-quality model of glasses it could be the best of both worlds. I was offered a sample of this product in exchange for my review.

This is a lightweight set of 3D glasses, which is designed to fit smartphones at least 5 inches long. I tried out this product with an Android, using a popular 3D app.FEATURES:+ The fit around my nose was reasonbly comfortable.+ The headstrap was also reasonably comfortable.+ Placing the phone in the rear tray works well.+ The extra lenses for near-sighted folks is really convenient. I was able to slide in the new lens pretty easily. It snaps in place well.+ The optics quality seemed good enough.CON:- The back cover never would quite snap perfectly into place. It would close pretty well, but not quite exactly tight. To be fair, this is a nitpik, and more of an appearance/finish issue, and doesn't noticeably affect the operation.- I really miss not having an adjustment to change the pupilar distance. Similar for not having a focus adjustment.- The User Guide is too brief, and not very helpful. Although, at least it is clearly printed with good artwork.- It took me a while to get the headband top strap to fasten in place on the frame. After I did however, it worked fine.So all in all, a mixed result. The extra lenses are a clever idea, and for those who need these adjustments, I bet they will really like this product. It's possible that other users may not need or want the pupillary and focus adjustments. However, I would prefer to have them. For me, that is a big minus. Recommend the supplier spend some time making the User Guide more useful.
